40L Electric Cool Boxes For Camping

We tried it, camping on a non-electric site at Hardin Ridge National Forest. It is mostly shade and the solar is still charging. It has a great battery and great solar charging (110).

Although, the reviewer Neal the professional archaeologist (read his review, too) has a few years on my mother and me as far as usage of these boxes, I have been using these boxes since 1987 when I first got serious in high school with photography. Two weeks ago, I was on vacation at my parents place and my uncle presented me with nearly 3000 family slides that had been unceremoniously dumped into zip-lock bags. Although they had been sorted into categories, the storage was unconscionable at best. I immediately pulled out my phone and ordered 4 boxes via the B&H app. The boxes are as good as my 30 year old box and it is hard to tell if there are any major changes. When loaded with 750 slides (hint: you can get more slides in if you don't use the dividers that are provided) the box weighs almost 9 pounds! To get my 4 boxes into 2 suitcases along with the rest of my stuff and keep the weight under 50#'s: creative packing was applied. To wrap this review up, these boxes are the ONLY boxes that I would store slides in. Oh, and it has a handle! I hope that the designer that put that into the design got a healthy bonus that year. I am not impressed with the plastic insert boxes that Logan sells. Only the #200. Sleep well at night. Purchase the Logan Electric Slide File #200. You won't regret it. The rating only goes to 5 stars. I personally give this box 6 stars.

i do a lot of back country camping, 4x4 and motor cycle riding in remote areas of the rocky mountains and utah. seems like there is always something that needs attention and usually in a hurry. stocked it up with what i had plus some other stuff, and it works great. every thing in one place, dry and secure. every thing fits perfectly, even 36 inch splints. now i have every thing ready to go when camping and transfer back to the big truck when it's time to roll 18 wheels again. no more plastic tackle boxes and tool boxes that always get wet or dump your stuff out on the ground when you pick them up, or digging around looking for what you need. all organized and easily to inventory. pelican cases are the best, hands down. i trust them for all my camera equipment and my fire arms when transporting to the field. the color is great. makes it easy to recognize from the other cases.

I use Matthews apple boxes for everything from prop setup to extra seating for crew and houseguests, even camping! Easy to paint to blend into scene or background, and simply sand off scuffs and debris to clean. I love lo-tech, and wish all of my tools were so well built and made for multi-tasking.

It makes traveling so easy! This is our second 40l and we are so fired up to have two of them!

I've tested a couple soft boxes and this one is the best you can find. The construction make it easy to install within seconds. The included pouch is really cool so you can carry it with you everywhere. One cool thing is that the flash stays outside the box so you can manually ajust your setting without having to open the box over and over. Also i have been able to use it with my camera IR function wich is impossible when flash is inside. I'am AMAAAAAAZED!!!! :)

Was having heat issues with DTV boxes and the cards were getting brown and fried from the heat. DTV boxes now are getting cool air and not sucking in hot hair blown out by the box it was on top of or laying next to. Great price, perfect solution.

Best 40L travel Bag I have ever use definitely I will recommend to everyone.
