[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 43” frame tv is the decorator highlight of my living space! We already had a 75” Samsung on the tv room, a Samsung in the bedroom and one on the porch. The picture quality is superb on all. So pleased with these Samsung products, I just purchased their 4 door Bespoke refrigerator- didn’t know you could fall in love with a refrigerator- more on that in a future review. I selected the 43” Frame tv to be hung over the fireplace mantle in our open space living area. My husband and I enjoy the capability of watching the tv while enjoying the fireplace as we drink our morning coffee. What stands out and above all other brands for the Frame tv is its ability to morph into an art statement! Company loves to see what masterpiece will be displayed. Choices are many: seasonal, the masters, contemporary , and celebration greetings as well. This Frame tv is so much more than a wonderful tv. It has the ability to convey my emotions and moods. Guests love to be given the opportunity to scroll through the Art Store to choose their favorites. As with all Samsung tvs, the ease of use and streaming capabilities are exceptional. I didn’t buy a tv, I bought a work of art that looks spectacular in my home. 5 |

Strong enough to hold up a refrigerator, I think. Fits perfectly, of course. 5 |

Bird photography is my primary use, and more often than not, for that you need reach, speed, sharpness and contrast. Nice, creamy bokeh is a plus. Top marks on all points for the 500 f/4E. For me the only real decision to make was to get a Nikkor 500 or 600 mm prime. Opted for 500 because I can shoot it handheld, but it is admittedly not really easy to do that. At least it is possible, and I do so often. The reduced mass of the E version vs. previous generations is frankly what enables that utility for people with less than supranormal strength. Handheld with a 600 is not realistic at all, for me at least, not only because of the extra mass, but also because the higher magnification of 600 mm makes it much harder to hold the subject on point while hand-held. A 600 would always have to be paired with a tripod, whereas the 500 offers me the flexibility of not being forced to do that. Obviously, using a tripod + gimbal (or monopod + tilt head) with the 500 has it merits, and I use those combinations often as well. I suppose I will eventually buy a 1.4x TC to get more reach on the 500 when needed, but for now, getting this lens was the cost of entry for serious bird photography. My results are noticeably better with the 500 than with the Nikkor 80-400 mm f/4.5-5.6G that was previously my main birding lens. For birding, and I suspect wildlife photography more generally, this 500 prime was the right choice, no doubt. The attached photograph was taken hand-held and is almost a 100% crop. Nikon D750, 1/3200 sec, f/5.6, ISO 320. AF-S Nikkor 500 mm f/4E. Unedited, except for usual Lightroom tweaks. 5 |

I owned the AF-S 500mm G VR and this new 600mm f/4E weighs the same but is definitely bigger to transport and carry around. I find the image quality to be better in every regard. Focus is extremely snappy and it takes the TC-1.4E very well. I went on a 7 hour hike yesterday and I took my 200-500 f/5.6 and left the 600 at home. I won't be able to do long hikes with it, but will use it at every opportunity I can. Incredible sharpness and smooth out of focus backgrounds. The accessories are definitely a consideration, around $2K spent on beefier tripod, gimbal, monopod and bags but that's just part of owning this lens. 5 |
