Those who want this to buy for gaming, buy a GAMING MONITOR! This is for art not gaming unlike someone who thinks it's for both. There are HDR gaming monitors out there.

I am loving my Dell UltraSharp 31.5 4K HDR Monitor. I calibrated the monitor just before working on images for a competition. Love the colors and the clarity.

So, I'm not sure if I'm the best person to be giving their opinion on this. Going from an ancient 7 year old 1080p monitor to a brand new 4K OLED I was bound to be blown away. That said, expectations met and exceeded. Especially when it comes to HDR. How far I have come in just a few weeks, from just happy to be gaming to being annoyed at any game that doesn't have a good HDR implementation. Next I'll be refusing to eat anything but caviar, I have truly found one of the finer things in life. Excellent? Absolutely. Worth it? I mean, if you've spent the money to have a rig capable of gaming in 4K, what's another $950 to make sure you get every last bit of wonder out of those pixels?

This is a great monitor. The hdr and blue eye screen care really help eye fatigue.. 4K gives you a LOT of real estate to do work on one monitor! It’s awesome! I am surprised to find that depending on what cable choice i used from my video card I was able to get only certain resolutions, I assume this has to be the video cards issue as it is much older 10 yrs.. for example with hdmi it will only drive 1920x1600. But with display sport it will run 4k@30hz or 2k@59hz. On the othe side when I plug in a newer computer like my 2016 MacBook Pro w usb-c/thunderbolt it pops up right away at 4K/60hz. Picture is fluid, colors are amazing, monitor is great and @ this price point ~ $400 it can’t be beat!!

I went through a number of ultrawide monitors before I found this one, and had found all the others lacking in one way or another. This thing, however, is exactly what I wanted: slightly curved (not as dramatic as gaming ultrawides, an IPS panel, excellent image quality, good color reproduction, great port selection (including USB C), and high quality stand with height adjustment. I use this primarily for work and media consumption, but I've also used it for some gaming and it was pretty good there too! The one thing that disappoints me is that the Picture by Picture feature presents the half of the screen as a full 3440x1440 monitor to the host OSes, so you either end up with a 21:9 image on both sides with huge black bars at top and bottom, or you end up with a 21:9 image on both sides that is squished to fit in the 1720x1440 space. I was able to get around this by enabling GPU scaling and allowing my video card to handle the scaling, but that's not an option on every computer/configuration. Overall I am very pleased for the price and think this is a great monitor that flies under the radar.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 34" is a good size monitor. Wall hanging was easy with Vesa pattern. It's lightweight and easy to mount. 2x hdmi and a display port offer plenty of inputs. The hdr looks great. 3440x1440p @ 100hz is great for gaming. Been smooth in gaming for me. Using with a Nvidia 4080 and the monitor has great colors. Good price and good features. Has standard speakers for a monitor, and has a 3.5mm jack for headphones. The settings are easy to get to. The controls are accessed by a button in the center bottom of the monitor inside a 4 way selector circle. For multiple inputs you can uses picture in picture PiP. For dividing up your screen, you can install the Easy Setting Box software. This will allow you to divide up your screen into sections for windows if wanted. Easy to install and use. You can divide the screen vertically, horizontally, or both. You can adjust the pre made grids as wanted too. Options for the monitor are standard. Options can be grayed out depending on the connection type used and signal sent. At 100Hz there was no whine, to monitor just accepted the Setting and worked fine. Windows 11 had no issues with the monitor. Detected it and the HDR capabilities. There is an inf file specifically for the monitor you can install. Colors are good, contrast is great. Not a "gaming" monitor, but works great as one. Easy to setup and displays wonderfully. 100Hz allows for smooth game play. 3440x1440 with HDR at a good price is a plus. Worth the upgrade from an older non HDR

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 32” Odyssey G7 Gaming Monitor is an absolute game-changer. Its vibrant QLED display, 240Hz refresh rate, and HDR support create an immersive gaming experience. The 1000R curvature and 2560x1440 resolution make every game pop. The monitor's smooth gameplay improved my performance, and the HDR brought scenes to life. The design is sleek with customizable RGB lighting, while the ergonomic stand adds practicality. Connectivity options are abundant, including DisplayPort and HDMI ports. In a nutshell, the Odyssey G7 elevates gaming setups and redefines monitor expectations. An investment worth every penny.
