4K Drone Camera With Gimbal

This memory card works very well in my drone's 4K Video Camera system. My drone camera requires an extremely fast memory card and this does it. Good value for the price. if you shoot 4K video you might want to consider this product.

I decided to get backing into the drone game. The resolution of the camera and stability of gimbal (and drone) are a game changer. Set up was easy, although one of my phones didn't work with it (Galaxy A50). My old MotoZ works very well with it. Case is nice, The transmitter has screw-on gimbal sticks that seem easy to loose. I'll likely carve out a place in the foam to leave them on permanently. I will likely pay for this on the first assignment. Hover is impressive and unwavering in an evening breeze. Very easy to control. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!! or your results will vary, btw instructions are a bit lacking, but online YouTube videos with 60-something drone guy wearing a hat filled in the blanks.

Currently being used with the a7R II A serious solid gimbal. I just now have bought into the camera gimbal for some of my work. This is going to be a great heavy duty piece of gear added to my equipment list. Like any piece of gear there’s going to be a learning curve but a fun one. A little bit of a mystery to get the right cable to work with my older Sony camera but that problem is now solved. Bought my first drone and it was a DJI baby drone to experience what a gimbal can do for your work. I mostly do talking head videos and interviews but I’m going to try to mix in some gimbal work on top of all of that. I would recommend any of the DJI gimbal products to anybody hard to be DJI and BNH photo.

Drone fly's perfectly. 4K camera looks great. Much better than the 2018,and 2020 version. For the price you cant go wrong.

The gimbal is very lightweight. The footage is very stable even at 4K. It's a very good system for lightweight camera setups like Sony A7c , Sony A6600. The light on the front is very bright. Compact and perfect for travel. m

I had to write a review for this thing as is definitely one of the better units I have purchased. No1 thing to do when receiving this unit is do the firmware updates FIRST! This is crucial. It took me some time to figure it out and get everything paired up properly. Beware the cables supplied. There are a few that look identical but for some reason don't quite work the same or I had a bad one as at first I couldn't get any transmission between the gimbal and the wireless motion controller. Once I got it all up and running, the unit functions amazingly. The motion remote is brilliant and the gimbal responds flawlessly to your movements. I can't wait to try it at an airshow next year. Now something I did discover is that although it says the unit is mainly for DSLRs and larger cameras, i got it working with my Sony PXW-Z90V 4k video camera using the Sony cable. I just wish they made the cables a tad longer, but it worked by mounting the transmitter on top of the camera so it was closer to the Sony's Multi port on the side. Voila. It works. I can't attest to other cameras but I imagine any Sony with a multi control port should work. Caution: it must be a camera that has continuous HDMI as some of the Sony 4k handycams disable the HDMI out when recording in 4k. The PXW-Z90V thankfully has option to output to external monitor in the camera settings. Pros: Very well made gimbal. Strong and sturdy. Lovely motion control remote. Nice carry case. Cons: Gimbal takes some time to setup and firmware updates take a while. Limited phone compatibility. My Note 20 Ultra did not work with the app. Only 5hrs battery life on the motion control remote, less if you are powering other things with the USB out. Cables supplied could be a bit longer. Other than the few cons I am VERY happy with the unit. For quick setup I labeled the necessary cables. I honestly don't know why there are bad reviews. A bit of time and patience and it's a lovely unit.

I have a pocket 4k that uses Cfast cards. I wanted to be able to use the camera stripped down for gimbal work as much as possible but still use braw and this card is perfect. The bigger deal was the sale offered by B&H: $99 for the card and a card reader! I tried to buy a second card but it was much more by itself. Well I just bought 2 of the specials. Now I have 2 readers! Card is solid and fast and big enough for short gimbal shoots & with 2 cards I can swap out easily.

I picked this up because I needed to start getting 4K footage to match into an existing workflow. I have been using Nikon D5000 series cameras for most of my career, and could not see tossing all that gear and going with a new setup. All my lenses, all my accessories, flash, gimbal, remotes, all work with this model as well. The D7500 is a bit different than the D5000 series, most of the functions are now buttons on the outside of the camera. Auto Focus switching, ISO settings, White Balance, bracketing, plus more, all have buttons, or can have buttons assigned to them so you don’t have to scroll through endless menus. The D7500 feels tougher than the D5000 series, it is a little heavier, but not ridiculous. The LCD flips up and down, and not out, which helps keep the balance on a gimbal. All of the connection ports are on the left side, again, making this more gimbal friendly, I use the Ronin-SC and it works great. I even solved the “cable issue” between the Ronin and Nikon camera, take a look on YouTube and you should find it. The only negative I have is that the D5000 series and the D7500 use different batteries. So I will have to start a new collection for this camera. Images and video have been perfect. There are some new autofocus options, and the face detection seems to lock on better. If you have an existing Nikon setup, and need to get from 1080 to 4K take a hard look at this model. I got the refurbished unit and it works fine. I can’t tell what even may have been refurbished about it, and not really sure why anyone who has this model would even want to send it back.

It works fine recording 4k video in my DJI Mavic Air drone.

Small but good, enough for my camera and drone.
