4K Gaming Monitor Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first ever gaming monitor I’ve ever owned or bought. I bought this monitor for my PlayStation 5!! And I have No regrets well worth the price I use to game on my Samsung 4K tv which has a refresh rate of 120hz but it only had the HDMI 2.0 input at first I thought it was going to be weird going from a 55” Tv to a 27” monitor but right off that bat it just doesn’t compare gaming in a 27 inches is perfect for gaming I was doing it all wrong! And the 4K quality looks better on my LG monitor than it did on my Samsung TV and now I can take Advantage of the 120FPS features on certain games for my PS5 overall I’m very happy with my new monitor and would for sure recommend it to my friends or anyone to buy it if they can.

I run triple A titles on ultra settings with a 4090 Nvidia GPU and this monitor is perfect for it. The curve is another great feature of the neoG8. It looks great and has completely alleviated the eye strain I was getting playing on my television. Honestly I can’t say enough good things about it. I’m glad I got it and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for high fps and a great picture.

Starting out with how the specs hold itself, the monitor has a Quantum Mini LED display. Just by hearing the name, you know its good. It supports HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG, but not Dolby Vision. The contrast ratio is 1,000,000:1 and the peak brightness is 400 nits. The monitor also has a wide color gamut of 95% DCI-P3 and 125% sRGB. The image quality is superb for gaming and multimedia content. The monitor has a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a response time of 1 ms. It supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC for smooth gameplay without tearing or stuttering. It also has a game mode that optimizes the picture settings for gaming. The input lag is low and the motion handling is excellent. The monitor has four HDMI 2.1 ports that support 4K at 120Hz, VRR, ALLM, and eARC. It is ideal for console gaming as well as PC gaming. Overall, I think this is one of the best monitors I’ve ever used. It has everything I need for an amazing entertainment experience: superb picture quality and great gaming performance. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm just blown away by this monitor after a couple days. The first say or two it took me a while to get used to the colors since I came from an IPS panel, but once I got used to it, I really started loving this monitor. Gaming such as racing games is super fun and really brings your sense of speed up to new levels. Productivity I've been using software to split the monitor into 3 equal parts which let's me open up email, a browser, and a server up at the same time for work which means I don't even have to use my second monitor to be productive! Gaming at 1440p at 240hz works well because then you can hit those frames with a decent graphics card. 4k personally I would feel as overkill and I'd rather have a high refresh 240hz screen than 4k. The packaging I was very happy to see padded and secured so I wouldn't have any worries with shipment. The stand is very study, almost too sturdy as raising and lowering the monitor requires 2 hands and you have to get up to do it. The curve of the monitor is good and the hdr in full screen is bright, way brighter than other monitors I've tried. Another benefit is the monitor turns on pretty quick which is good because I'm always walking away from my computer. Windows trys to force the monitor audio as default but just disable it in playback devices and you'll be good. Overall a great monitor I can fully recommend.
