Those who want this to buy for gaming, buy a GAMING MONITOR! This is for art not gaming unlike someone who thinks it's for both. There are HDR gaming monitors out there. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG's new UltraFine 4K HDR monitor is everything I wanted in a new monitor. The 10-bit VA 32 inch panel with HDR is very vivid and bright. The colors really pop out at you. LG has been the industry leader when it comes to monitors and this one does not disappoint. This monitor is perfect for work and play. My work laptop uses USB-C display alt to pass video and charging capabilities. This new monitor is able to deliver 65 watts of power delivery through its USB-C port. Having one cable for charging and video saves space and allows for good cable management. The monitor has pretty good speakers as well. They give off an ample amount of volume for work and play. Now lets talk about the gaming features. HDMI 2.1 and 144hz at 4k is a game changer. I have the latest gaming consoles and have my gaming PC connected. Lets just say that I notice a difference when playing the latest AAA titles. Having Freesync Premium is also a must have for today's monitors, so screen tearing is minimal. The overall 32 inch size is a perfect size for a 4k monitor. LG does not disappoint. Having the ability to tilt and adjust the height adds a feature that most monitors in its class don't allow. The USB-C input is a must have. This is a must buy. 5 |

Reviewing LG 27BN85UN-B 27 4K HDR Monitor, LG27BN85UNB. I purchased 2 monitors for a 2018 Mac Mini using USB-C to TB3. Truly beautiful visual experience and much better dot pitch than most 32 inch or larger monitors. Great value and fantastic purchase experience from BH. So, I'm not sure if I'm the best person to be giving their opinion on this. Going from an ancient 7 year old 1080p monitor to a brand new 4K OLED I was bound to be blown away. That said, expectations met and exceeded. Especially when it comes to HDR. How far I have come in just a few weeks, from just happy to be gaming to being annoyed at any game that doesn't have a good HDR implementation. Next I'll be refusing to eat anything but caviar, I have truly found one of the finer things in life. Excellent? Absolutely. Worth it? I mean, if you've spent the money to have a rig capable of gaming in 4K, what's another $950 to make sure you get every last bit of wonder out of those pixels? 5 |

I've been using a 4k screen for a couple of years, but it was a Samsung TV as I wanted a larger screen and nothing in the monitor space yet existed. It was a good experience, I didn't have any issues - regardless of what people say about using TVs as monitors. However, once I noticed that OLED monitors were coming around, I considered going back. I wasn't crazy about dealing with burn-in and the odd ways manufactures try to prevent it. Instead, I wanted to see what Samsung was up to in the gaming monitor space. I came across this and was immediately drawn in because of the high fresh rate and it being 4k. I didn't consider the G8 because I didn't think the even higher refresh rate warranted the extra cost. Once I got the G7 connected, it was like playing games for the first time. Cyberpunk looked incredibly better than my 4k TV, colors popped and I could see details that I couldn't previously. The curvature is a bit odd at first, especially in Windows, but for gaming, I really like it. The high refresh rate was a new experience as well - I hadn't had anything higher than 60Hz, so again it was a new experience. This makes a big different not only in gaming, but using Windows - everything is so smooth. The height adjustment was another helpful feature as I needed it to be in a specific place. Without it, I would have had to use a box or something else unsightly. I'm not an RGB person, but found that I liked messing with the colors and do leave a solid color on most of the time. My only complaint, is the buttons to control the settings. I have some business monitors for work that are also Samsung and they use the same buttons. It's not my favorite and it feels a bit cheap. For an $1100 monitor, I'd expect a bit more, but it's not something I use often. I feel the monitor is on the expensive side, but it is worth it if you have the machine to push high end graphics to it. 5 |

I switched from 2 4K monitors to this & love it. I use the dual inputs while working and the entire screen for gaming. More space on the desktop & more immersive gamibg 5 |
