4K Lg Computer Monitor Too Dark

Outstanding 4k monitor for the price. Images are crisp. This is my third LG monitor bought from B&H.

Perfect resolution when connected from iMac pro to an LG 4K monitor

I had two of these LG 4K monitors on my desk for several years now and finally decided to get one more to make my computer work even more efficiently and convenient. If you do a lot of engineering or graphic design work I highly recommend treating yourself to a 3 monitor workspace! They have excellent non-glare screens and I was easily able to color adjust all three monitors to match each other even though two of them have been in use for several years now! I love the spring loaded stands that they come with as they are easy to adjust and support the monitors quite well. The older two I have have been great since I got them so I would expect no less from the newest one!

I was concerned choosing a IPS panel over a VA panel, because our living room TV is an OLED and I'm a huge fan of inky dark blacks. But 4k @ 32 inches requires you to sit pretty close, and the viewing angles on a VA panel are just too bad for that (major color degradation at edges) and I can't tolerate the distortion from curved screens. Turns out my fears were unwarranted! With the proper settings (Black Level High, brightness & contrast at reasonable levels) the monitor doesn't suffer from raised (greyish) blacks, and there's only a slight amount of black crush at the tail end of the spectrum. The highlights are great, viewing angle is nice, no obvious issues with screen uniformity, motion, etc. The only minor issue I have with the screen is the finish - it's a semi-gloss/matte combo that does a poor job of diffusing reflections. It is very sensitive to any kind of light shining directly on the screen. If you have a dark office, no issues, but if you're right next to a window the light can be very distracting. Luckily the monitor gets VERY bright, so you can adjust as needed to drown out most of the glare. For the price, the monitor really exceeds my expectations. I use it mostly for work (coding/office/etc., lots of small text) and it's looks fantastic even with 150% scaling enabled. I haven't tried it out for any gaming (planning to hook old XBox One X up to it at some point), but if the 4k videos I've watch on it are any indication, it should look great!

Had problems connecting a 4k LG monitor to a Macbook via TB3 to display port or HDMI, using an adaptor. This cable has worked flawlessly thus far.

Fantastic arm mount. Have a 32 LG 4K monitor weighing almost 20 pounds on it. Install was easy with the clamp but I decided to use the grommet for extra security. Adjustments to arm are easy. Don't listen to the other reviewers that say it won't hold their monitor up... they didn't take the time to adjust it.

The 4K resolution is incredible, colors, performance, etc. are amazing, match that of my MacBook Pro. I'm so much more productive using this bigger screen! My wife loved it so much, we ended up purchasing another monitor for her Win10 laptop - if you work from home and need a lot of screen real estate, you must get a 4K monitor, 32" - the LG is the best (I've looked at Samsung, HP, etc.) The exterior design is very nice as well, similar to apple, very thin bezels and simple stand. Forget about wide screen or curved screen options, most of the other monitors are NOT 4K, you must get this LG.. the display performance (color, speed, etc.) are superior
