4K Sports Camera 16Mp Waterproof 30M

This camera is fabulous for landscapes and portraits and some sports. I still use my 7Dmkii at times for sports and birds for the speed and reach. This camera has great sensitivity, low noise, great autofocus, reasonable multi-frame speed. The touch screen is nice, useful in many situations. I do wish it had an articulated rear screen so I could hold the camera up high and still frame the picture. The 4k video is wonderful even though I don't use video that often. It does make rather large files in the 4k mode. I have used this for months and I am truly impressed. I know Nikon has introduced a new camera with some impressive specs, but I still think this camera provides wonderful performance. It was a great improvement over my 6D.

I'm an enthusiast photographer and have used my 5D IV primarily for wildlife, landscape/flowers, sports for 3 or 4 years but i was itching to upgrade/supplement it with something new and better. I tried the EOS R but really didn't like anything about it so when the 1DXiii got announced i decided to go for it and put my pre-order in as soon as i could. When it finally arrived i was a bit astounded at how small the 5D IV felt in comparison. The first thing i did after charging the battery was, of course, to check out the high-speed mode and holy smoke. Going from 7fps to 16 or 20fps is incredible. And the AF seems to have improved by leaps and bounds as well. My 85mm 1.2L focuses quicker and more accurately on the 1DXiii, and doesn't hunt around to fine-tune like it does on the 5D IV. One gripe though, as cool as the new enhanced AF-ON button is, i don't think i'm a fan. Even with the sensitivity all the way down i find the focus point moves unintentionally when i press to actually focus. I don't see the benefit over the joystick, but maybe it'll grow on me. The video capabilities are incredible as well. 5.5K RAW and all the different uncropped 4K modes are highly welcomed compared to the MJPEG significantly cropped 4K on the 5D IV. i do wish AF functioned in the 4K modes, but i'm really looking forward to using it in 1080p modes up to 120fps! What i really wanted to say in this review is that i bought this camera on a bit of a whim. The 1DXiii is way more camera than i really need as an amateur/enthusiast but maybe it'll help me try new things to get the most out of it. I do have mild aspirations to be a sports photographer, and getting more than twice as many pictures of birds in flight might increase my chances of getting a good one, but i really didn't need this camera. I'm certainly glad i have it, but the upcoming R5 would have probably been a more sensible camera for me, assuming they fix all the things i hated about the R.

Don't be put off that it's "only" 16MP. The lack of AA filter plus improved processing means the photos look as good or better than 20MP cameras. It's lightweight and feels great in the hand. I tried the G9 and it just felt too big and uncomfortable, so I decided to stay with the G85. The image stabilization is incredible, especially with those Panasonic lenses compatible with Dual IS II. I was very pleasantly surprised with the high ISO performance as well, getting clean photos up to ISO 6400. Even though it is contrast detect AF, Panasonic's DFD AF system works amazingly well, even in low light. Honestly, it's the fastest and surest autofocus I've ever used (and I've been a photographer for 40+ years). Highly recommended.

What a fantastic lens! Makes 16MP photos on micro 4/3 platform look sharp! Plastic yes, but metal mount. Lens hood is a plus, I wear it all the time either backwards in storage mode or in use as it protects the lens. Would recommend as your very first prime. No IS though, so be careful not to set your expectations too high if you shoot handheld footage while shaking around in pitch darkness :)

Professional use for 24 prints. Great black and white and color prints from 16MP images to large format film.

There hasn't been a single thing that the 2000x was doing that this wasn't capable of, (at least for me which is sports shooting and 4K video). I'll be buying more of them for sure.

I have yet to test video at 4K to see if there are heat issues as discussed here so I may have to update. But on first sports shoot it killed it. Zero buffer on 1DX Mark II. It is basically a solid state drive on a beastly double processor rig.

I have had this TV for about a month, blown away with the picture. Sports are blur free in 4K. The apps available are great, lots of inputs for devices. Best TV I've owned.
