4K Vlogging Camera 2020

While the first RX0 was revolutionary, there were still many limitations that made it a tough sell for many hobbyist photographers. In order to get the best results, it required a pro set up (external recorder for 4K, as well as an external monitor to actually see what you were recording, and a gimbal to stabilize the footage). I know this because I shot a short film using only the RX0. Sony gave me the new RX0II to test out and heres what I think. Not only does this update address those issues for hobbyist filmmakers, it adds a flip out screen, making it IMO the ultimate camera for an entirely new sector of creators: vloggers. It literally fits in your pocket, is protected against water, dropping (even crushing), etc. If you can a dual mount and a handle that puts the mic off to the side, its still wayyyy lighter than even Sonys a6400, also great for vlogging.  If you have a main camera, and want the ultimate camera B for travel content creation or vlogging (heck, even the photos Ive taken on the RX0 are legit), this is a must have in the tool kit. Squeeze it into a tight space, hang it out the window, take it underwater, it kind of does it all, now in 4K internally. Like I said the original had some setbacks, but this one is a no brainer.

Drone fly's perfectly. 4K camera looks great. Much better than the 2018,and 2020 version. For the price you cant go wrong.

It’s been almost five years for Sony to release the most anticipated camera in 2020 and I would confidently say that this camera has exceeded my expectations. The 4K 120p is by far the best I’ve ever seen/shoot. I highly recommend it

I'm so glad I upgraded from my 2020 Intel. The battery lasts a lot longer and I'm able to slice through 4K S-Log 3 Footage like butter on FCP!

Got this back in 2020 and have been using it regularly since then as my primary video device. Ditched my 4k camcorder and a7r3 for this and have never looked back. The video is absolutely stunning and the dual native iso is unmatched. We still use it for photography and although the pixel count is much smaller, the images look crisp and sharp. Have not missed the extra megapixels at all, besides I have AI software I can use to turn my images from this up to 6X the original size and preserve and enhance the details so I am not missing anything. I know it's hard to get these in stock but even a year later this thing is still on top of everything else out there if you can manage to get your hands on one.

Fantastic camera! A little pricy but you get what you pay for. It is a fantastic camera for vlogging! Certainly recommend it!

Can be used for a camera or phone. Works well for vlogging on Youtube. Good build quality.
