4K Vs Hz For Pc Gaming Monitors

Absolutely thrilled with my purchase of the MSI MPG 321URX QD-OLED 32 4K 240 Hz Gaming Monitor! From the moment I plugged it in, I was captivated by its stunning display and unparalleled performance. Let's start with the display itself - the QD-OLED technology truly sets this monitor apart. The colors are vibrant, rich, and incredibly lifelike, making every game and multimedia experience feel like a journey into another world. Whether I'm exploring lush landscapes in open-world RPGs or engaging in intense firefights in fast-paced shooters, the level of detail and clarity is simply astounding. Not to mention, the 4K resolution ensures that every pixel is rendered with precision, resulting in razor-sharp images that bring games to life like never before. And with a refresh rate of 240 Hz, motion is buttery smooth, giving me a competitive edge in fast-paced games where split-second reactions are crucial. But the excellence of this monitor doesn't stop there. MSI has also thoughtfully designed it with gamers in mind, incorporating features like customizable RGB lighting and intuitive OSD controls that allow me to tailor my setup to suit my preferences perfectly. Plus, the inclusion of technologies like AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility ensures that I experience tear-free gaming sessions with minimal input lag. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my MSI MPG 321URX QD-OLED 32 4K 240 Hz Gaming Monitor. It's a true game-changer that has elevated my gaming and multimedia experiences to new heights. If you're in the market for a premium gaming monitor that delivers uncompromising performance and jaw-dropping visuals, look no further - this is the one you've been waiting for. Highly recommended!

First let's get this out of the way, I was almost deterred by the dead pixel police but I think they are missing the point. This monitors motion clarity, color, brightness, responsiveness, and quality are on another level. I have owned or currently own the LGC2, the 175 hz ultrawide Acer predator x38, the 240 HZ BenQ Zowie, and the 270 hz 1440p Asus xg27aqm. Gaming on this is completely different. The combination of motion clarity and color vibrance is just nuts. I went into Apex Legends and I could feel the change from my other monitors to this one immediately. I can hit shots on this that I couldn't on the others. Everything slows down just a little and because the colors pop, you also see your opponents more clearly. Quick math lesson here. Since there are 2560 by 1440 pixels in this monitor, that means there are 3.7 million pixels and don't forget those pixels consist of red, green, and blue subpixels. So if one is dead, who cares? Are you guys serious? It's like you won a date with Alexandra Daddario and you are complaining about the dress she wore. Good grief we are entitled. I do not think mine had any dead pixels, I dunno, because it turns out a pixel is really really small. If you got the hardware to drive it, upgrade from HD to 1440p and leave your dated TN panels behind. Yes the 240 HZ oleds have a faster GTG, but that doesn't mean they have the best input lag, that has to do with other image processing elements beginning from the cable and ending at ur display. This is faster than OLEDs for total display latency and about 2.5 times brighter. If you are sweaty, this is your new home.

For background on myself, I've always been a PC tinker and some mild PC gaming but most of my gaming happens on console. This is my first current gen card since the GT series, so far it has crushed everything I throw at it with no issues! Halo, Fortnite, WoW, WoT, Civ 6, VR, and FPV Flight sims all with no issues and locked at 60hz with my monitors. It's currently in a AMD system running a Ryzen 5 5600x, 16gb drr4 3000, and B550 chipset mobo pushing to a dual dell business class monitors.

I've tried so many monitors for my use case and this is by far the best I've ever used. I use this both for PC Gaming and for work (with a connected MacBook Pro) and this monitor is the best. The built in KVM features just work as expected, so switching between PC and Mac is a breeze. The colors are insanely vibrant, it gets plenty bright (and I sit right next to a window), the refresh rate is the best I've seen - overall this monitor is amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so impressed with this LG 40WP95C-W monitor that I honestly don’t know how I will ever be able to use a smaller monitor ever again. My previous PC monitors have been either 32” or 27”. I resisted the urge to go with anything larger for fear that it would be too big to use easily but boy was I wrong. This 40” curved monitor is, without a doubt, the single best thing I have ever purchased for my PC. First it looks gorgeous with the curved screen and the white colored backside. The stand is completely stable with no wobbling (I hate wobbly monitors!). There are a plethora of inputs, basically every type you would ever need. Also the speakers are really good for a PC monitor, they impressed me. Now the screen is a sight to behold. 5K resolution (provided you have a good video card that can handle that resolution) and the colors are perfect. I did not feel the need to alter the color settings at all. It’s perfect out of the box. I use my PC daily as I work from home and this huge screen allows me to easily view at least 6 open windows so I can be more productive. I love this ability and, for me, is the main reason I can never go back to a smaller monitor. I feel spoiled! I don’t game much and haven’t used this monitor for gaming so I cannot comment on it’s gaming performance. It has AMD FreeSync so it should be great to use with either a PC or gaming console. I’m already considering buying another one of these amazing monitors. Bravo LG on a job well done!

I've been using a 4k screen for a couple of years, but it was a Samsung TV as I wanted a larger screen and nothing in the monitor space yet existed. It was a good experience, I didn't have any issues - regardless of what people say about using TVs as monitors. However, once I noticed that OLED monitors were coming around, I considered going back. I wasn't crazy about dealing with burn-in and the odd ways manufactures try to prevent it. Instead, I wanted to see what Samsung was up to in the gaming monitor space. I came across this and was immediately drawn in because of the high fresh rate and it being 4k. I didn't consider the G8 because I didn't think the even higher refresh rate warranted the extra cost. Once I got the G7 connected, it was like playing games for the first time. Cyberpunk looked incredibly better than my 4k TV, colors popped and I could see details that I couldn't previously. The curvature is a bit odd at first, especially in Windows, but for gaming, I really like it. The high refresh rate was a new experience as well - I hadn't had anything higher than 60Hz, so again it was a new experience. This makes a big different not only in gaming, but using Windows - everything is so smooth. The height adjustment was another helpful feature as I needed it to be in a specific place. Without it, I would have had to use a box or something else unsightly. I'm not an RGB person, but found that I liked messing with the colors and do leave a solid color on most of the time. My only complaint, is the buttons to control the settings. I have some business monitors for work that are also Samsung and they use the same buttons. It's not my favorite and it feels a bit cheap. For an $1100 monitor, I'd expect a bit more, but it's not something I use often. I feel the monitor is on the expensive side, but it is worth it if you have the machine to push high end graphics to it.

I switched from 2 4K monitors to this & love it. I use the dual inputs while working and the entire screen for gaming. More space on the desktop & more immersive gamibg

If you're a PC gamer and a big screen tv, there is no better choice than the QN900D 4K 240hz Gaming with VRR/ Freesync Premium for a flawless gaming experience as well as the ability to play at native 8K 60hz for the sharpest image possible.

This PC works great for gaming even at 4k. The 16GB of RAM really isn't an issue. As far as the fan noise complaint, I don't find that it's loud at all for what it's doing unless your PC is a foot from your ear maybe.

I was looking for a dock that could power at least two monitors at 60 Hz all day. This dock delivers that and powers much more than that.
