5 9 17 Windows Update Slowed Computer

My computer front ports stopped working with a Windows 10 update, and I could not get them to work again. But my rear 3.1 ports were working fine. So I saw this little unit, and bought it at B&H's low price. It's plug and play, and functions perfectly. I plugged it into a rear port, and double-sided taped it to the computer top. It has a power button that once turned on, never has to be used again. Turn the computer off, turn it on again, and the hub powers up with the computer. Perfect, and an easy fix! I can high-speed transfer to my USB sticks again!

This really sped up my computer hugely. I sometimes run virtual machines on my computer, and with this my virtual machines run so quickly. It's a big difference from when I had different storage in my computer. One other nice thing is you can update the firmware without Windows. I use Linux, and it really helps to have firmware you can update without needing Windows;

I use this to make system images on Win 7 Pro... before I do windows update (just to be safe, because, you know, microsoft).  Priced right and works for me.  Generally takes two of these to make a system image of my C: drive with 115 GB on it.  Good safety net.

I could not upgrade the firmware from Godox through my windows 10. So after a computer professional looked over the situation said that Windows 10 would not recognize the upgrade due to the time Godox wrote the firmware upgrade. He used Windows 7 and the firmware upgrade worked.

Purchased 8/15/17 - had the HSS firmware update. Tested out HSS on XPro 2 work great. Flash seems well built, use it in manual mode mostly been fine. The controls on back of flash easy to use & see in low light, swivel & tilt range of flash head excellent for bouncing needs. I wish the i40 was built this exact same way,

Purchased four of these, used to update main hard drives in three older 17 MacBook Pros and one Mac Mini. They were easy to install and have been working perfectly since day one.
