HEAVY but well made. Has punch-outs on the front and back which are very hard to see in photos. The front punch out is small, about the size of a pinky finger, the two rear punch outs are at least twice as large. Slides nicely and latches securely. I think it comes with rack screws, can't remember. 5 |

I research things to death! I chose this microphone because I desired a plug and play microphone that didn't require batteries, and that would be relatively sensitive for run-and-gun situations where an operator would be capturing footage and discussion during events and such. This microphone is deeper sounding than it's Rode counterpart. Which for me is desirable. It is what I wanted. I will often throw a low pass filter on it in Premier Pro to take off the lowest of the lows, but considering I don't have the deep movie voice I wish I had this sound profile is good for my/our needs. 5 |
