Dollar for dollar, this is a great speedlite. This is the first external flash I have ever owned (for digital). Have tested this unit all the way up to 1/4000 to freeze a drop of milk splashing in a cup to portraits and have been very pleased compared to the built-in flash on my Canon XT. Battery life is very good and cycle time is very fast if shooting 1/2 power or less. Head swivels and tilts, has built-in diffuser. 5 |

I use this 50 mm Nixon 1.4 lens on a digital camera which converts to a 75 mm lens for portrait photography. It allows me to take good pictures in low light without the use of a flash. 5 |

Don't put a $50 filter on your $3000 dollar lens please. This thing is very pricey but the quality of the glass and the build of it is really great. It comes with a front lens hood and a nice Velcro case. 5 |
