The actual focal length is a weird purgatory between 35 and 50, but it's a good all-arounder. I particularly like it for food photos - it's easy to get overhead at this focal length, and it focuses close. and it's SO sharp. 5 |

Use on Pentax DSLR w/ 50mm 1.4 lens used to shoot food photography. Very convenient and folds nicely out of the way to facilitate lens cap removal, etc. Recommended. 5 |

I have been in photography for almost 50 years. These are the best stands I have ever found. Have several in my studio. Use them for very large softboxes, and with an Avenger boom use as a hair light (with sand bags). Thoroughly satisfied. Would recommend to all my friends. 5 |
