I needed to run a USB cable from my computer to another device .. but the other device was about 30 feet away and normal USB just won't work at those distances. This little device allows you to run USB over a CAT5 (or CAT5e or CAT6) cable .. over a hundred feet. It plugs into a USB jack on the computer, thru an adapter to CAT5 cable, and on the other end connects to a small powered adapter and back to USB .. Works fine. A great way to extend the reach of USB. Completely transparent to the computer and to the external device .. no software required. Just connect and use. 5 |

I'm using several of these now, and they all work great! cat5/6 cable runs from 30-100 feet. I especially like the fact that the receiver is powered through the cable and doesn't need power of its own. I also like the HDMI thru on the transmitter, which lets me have one less splitter for some of my applications. Definitely worth the price. 5 |

I had no problem sending a signal through 50 feet of cable. It's smaller and more compact than it looks in pictures, which for me was a big plus. Some people don't like the idea of having to plug it in but I already have so many things coming off my camera, it was no big deal. The small size also helps in that. 5 |

We need a serial cable capable of maintaining color digital projector signal over 50-100 feet. This one works great. Still pics and videos look 95% as good on the projector 75 feet from the primary projector as the main projector, and I'll take that performance anytime since signals can drop off the more footage you run the signal. 5 |
