I looked around for a white umbrella & found out most umbrellas can't take more than 500 watts of flash or continuous power ! BUT this Westcott 45 optical satin white umbrella can take 1000 watts ! So if you have 1000 watt quartz halogens or do a lot of flashes at a photo session, this umbrella will not discolor, it stays satin white. Great product for bounce or shoot thru ! 99% of the time I use it as a shoot thru to get those soft lighting effects. I would buy it again & again !

This speaker system was a great price from B&H and the packaging and shipping was outstanding. I set up the speaker system and 500 watts of power makes my computer come alive. The subwoofer is first rate. My gaming system is now complete.

This is a great unit. However beyond the external excellent design.Tweaking this unit to 500 watts would make it far more competitive .

I have used this light several times for interviews and I love it. 500 watts is just enough to push through the diffusion and provide a large, soft source of light to light a face and even the whole body while sitting down. The light stand is strong and sturdy. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. Doesn't run as hot as a fresnel and it certainly cools off much quicker, allowing you to strike your set and go. Make sure you get some daylight blue gel large enough to cover the soft box in case you have to do an interview with daylight coming in through the windows.

500 watts is a great standard, but when I'm looking for a softer touch, stepping down to 200 watts does the trick. The twist/lock design allows for fast turn-around time. A must-have accessory for any Lowel Rifa owner!

Great light, depending on the lamp you use. I recomend 750 watts instead of 500 or 1000 watts, unless you need a lot oa light, then go for 1000 watts lamps. Can use an umbrella, Durable, easy to turn on/off. Cools very quickly.

Excellent sound reproduction. At 75 watts per channel it works great with my JBL speakers. Sounds great at low levels. I recommend this unit for it’s traditional function as a wonderful stereo receiver.

You won't be disappointed. These speakers sound great with as little as 50 watts per channel but really shine when you can give them 100+. I have mine powered by an Emo XPA 5 with 200 watts per channel and they sound almost as good as my Dahlquist DQ-10s. Excellent bass for such a small speaker, great imaging and transparency. I have mine sitting on a stone retaining wall and the bass is awesome. The only thing I can fault them on is they sound a little bright but you may be able to eq it out. Not that big of an issue though. The speakers are very accurate so you can definitely hear the difference that hi res audio files make (e.g. 24/96 or 24/192 files). I left mine out in the rain exposed to the elements and they do fill up with water. Just shook it out and they were fine. Probably good to keep them protected or bring them inside during a big storm if you can. They are also solidly built. All metal, no plastic.
