500/500 Internet Speed Test

My internet plan is 500 down and 50 up and I can get the full speed through it. My ping is also very good and I can get as low as 9ms ping in games. It worked perfectly when I connected it to my deco meah network.

This unit will do 1000 Mbps and our internet provider supplies 300 with option to 400 or 500. This modem will last long into the future. Great quality!

I got this new mesh router after upgrading my internet provider to fiber optic. I went from 200/10 to 500/500 however my old router couldn’t get anywhere near max speed over WiFi. This router gets very close and has much longer range.

Used a test panel to compare with other Nikons . The 16-80 on my D-500 is absolutely the sharpest . It is also extremely quiet and quick to focus . Very sharp at one foot and 80 MM .

Quicker than the old 500's. I'm pleased.

If you want the high speed that OWC claims ( up to 2,500 Mb/s ) you need to use the 8 disks. In my case just use 4 disks and just get 768Mb/s. In general OWC is an excellent option. If you use 5 disks of 14TB in Raid 5 option, you will get 42TB.

Quick focus improves the focusing accuracy and speed even on my E-500 but way better on the E-3. It's got and amazing close up ability and an awesome zoom range. It's a heavy lens but you soon forget about that when you see how well it performs and how sharp the pictures are.

For reference I am using this with a Sony A7R ii. For $500 its pretty hard to beat the quality of this lens. It is mostly plastic, but it feels solid and is weather sealed too. I took it out to take pictures of wildlife and was pleased by its focusing speed and image quality despite having smaller f stops. The days were nice and sunny, which works well with this lens. I haven’t tested low light performance but I am assuming you’ll need a fairly low shutter speed or iso bump. Overall great lens for $500 (on sale), I recommend to anyone not wanting to drop a thousand or more on a comparable focal length.
