I just added the WD 4TB Elements External Desktop Hard Disk Drive to my� back up solution (6 hard drives) and Windows 10.� I disconnected the power and USB cable from a full WD hard drive and replaced it with this new drive and fired it up. It works great, just like I would expect from Western Digital. 5 |

We have a 500gb External Hard Drive that has been excellent. I'm taking more video so wanted a new one that had more space. Compared to the older 500gb it feels much smaller even though dimensions are roughly the same. TONS of storage. 5 |

I found it impossible to understand the external hard drive descriptions and specs on vendor websites and Amazon, and everything was pushing toward SSDs, which I already own, but I wanted this kind in addition, so I did what I usually do: contacted the pros at B&H and they helped me pick this model. It's Mac-ready, so no need to fiddle; just plug it in and connect to the laptop and open Time-Machine and that's it! So far, I'm a very happy customer. 5 |
