So here it is I bought these speakers and just received them today. I had a 5.1 Yamaha Sound System but because of a baby and the potential to pull the tower down upon themselves I decided I needed something more compact. So Roku you were the first choice because price wise you knocked it out of the park with the $149.00 price tag that I was able to snag them at. I get them home and let me tell you the hook up was so effortless and simple. I loved the fact that you could place the speakers either way you wanted and be able to program which was left and which was right. I have already tested several movies and the clarity of sound and volume of speech is perfect. There is one draw back that I would like to address and that is that when in game mode these speakers shut off and the sound goes through the TV speakers which I expect shall be addressed in an update I hope sooner rather than later. If you have a RokuTV then these are the speakers for you. I assume a center, sub, and rear speakers will eventually be an option to add and if so Roku let me know because I would love to test them out for you. Get these speakers! You will not be disappointed. 5 |

Great unit. I’m very happy with it. I’m running energy connoisseur speakers 5.1 system. Should I get the MM7055? 5 |

Added as front speakers for bedroom surround system 5.1. Full rich sound, a great improvement over more compact speakers. Powered by Denon amp. 5 |

I bough these to replace some old and cheap ceiling speakers in a 5.1 setup. The moment I installed them and fired them up, the sound was amazing! Awesome for movie surround sound, brilliant for multi-channel music. They have just enough bass (add a sub if you want a bit more thump), but the mid and high range is incredible - I’m hearing new things in sound tracks that I’ve listened to for years (and I usually listen to music in another room with B&W high-end speakers). Amazing value for the money. 5 |

I needed this bracket to install Bose 5.1 speakers in my family room. They are durable. Since the plastic plate on my house ceiling was bigger than bracket, I installed the brackets on the plastic plate 5 |

I purchased these speakers as height speakers for an Atmos 5.1.2 setup with my Onkyo TX-NR646 receiver. I am no expert or audio techno geek, just an average listener that enjoys great surround sound with my movies. These speakers are very reasonably priced and sound great to me so far. The paint-able screen and bezel feature allowed me to attractively blend them into the ceiling. Very happy with them. 5 |

i purchased this model because it was a Vizio product. and it was 5.1, why not get the best out of a sound bar with five speakers. being a non electronic understanding person, i trusted Vizio to make this process pain free. boy was i happy, this bar comes with everything you will need to get it going. you plug it in and it does the rest. i could not believe that it was that simple, quick and instructions easy to understand, i would not hesitate to recommend this sound bar. oh by the way the sound separation is great, the base speaker does a good job and the rear speakers (surround sound) hold their own. i had to adjust the volume so that they would not over power the sound bar. the wife's christmas present is one i will enjoy for a long time, :p 5 |

I guess you could describe me as an audiophile. My current system cost me about 25 KBUCKS and includes Audio Research pre-amp and amp, Mirage speakers (8 speakers in each tower), an 18 inch subwoofer, etc., etc. Two things made me ready for a change: 1) I am ready to simplify and unclutter and 2) My ears ain't what they used to be. Through lots of research and recommendations by the audio store that sold me my current setup some years ago, I landed on Sonos. I am awaiting a 5.1 home theatre setup, but could not resist buying a Sonos 5 while waiting. It came a couple of hours ago, and I am enjoying the hell out of it. Quick, intuitive setup, great sound and wireless! I love it. Understand that my listening area is a challenge. A voluminous room with 30 foot wooden ceilings. This beauty fills up the room with wonderful sound. As I type this, I am sitting in my home office which is a considerable distance from the speaker and it is clear and concise even through the walls and distance (of course I will now have to get a Play or Play one for in here!). I was amazed at the bass response. I had to immediately play Olympic fanfare which is a knockout piece on my reference setup. Wonderful! With singing, the voices are clear and the highs are crisp and clean. Unfortunately, I can see another one of these in my immediate future to setup a stereo system. I can't wait to see how it sounds when the subwoofer arrives with the 5.1 system. Sonos, you guys rock!! 5 |
