5.1 Soundbar System For 4K Tv

This UPS is used for a TV entertainment system - it feeds a 48 4K TV and soundbar; and five video input devices. No problems at all with power quality to the devices. I haven't realized (or tested) a power outage yet, but am confident that there will be enough time to do normal shutdowns when required.

As an engineer I has hoping for a lot, but the 5.1 channel sound of this complete Arc soundbar based home theater system is far beyond my expectations. Since we have Android phones I did have to enlist my son-in-law with his iPhone to do a more thorough system calibration needed to provide the full scope of sound on modern movies and TV, but once fully calibrated to the room in which it's located the sound is just superb.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quick thoughts: I am coming from a 5.1 surround sound system that I had pieced together over the years, so I was ready for this not to be able to match it…I was pleasantly surprised. I paired the soundbar with my existing Martin Logan subwoofer and was blown away. The Good: Let’s start with the setup. Klipsch does a great job with packaging, labeling each piece, and providing instructions on how to set this up. I had everything up and running in about 15 minutes. I have a few movie scenes and songs that I like to put my audio equipment to the test with. Started with the opening scene of Top Gun, naturally. I think the Flexus Core 200 did a great job with the highs and the lows and when it kicked into “Danger Zone”, I was rocking right along to it and quickly forgot about my 5.1 system. Now is this a replacement for a quality surround sound system? Probably not. But for someone like me who recently became a dad and needed things mounted and away from little hands, this is a great replacement. The Bad: As previously stated, it is not a replacement for a true surround sound system. I found the dialogue a bit lacking, even with the dialogue amplifying setting on. It’s tough to replace a dedicated center channel, but I fault myself more than the soundbar. As far as comparing this vs other soundbars, I think this one is near the top regarding dialogue.

A soundbar. I never really was a friend of soundbars, I always preferred true 5.1 speaker setups. But I always wanted to include the TV room to my Sonos multiroom setup. Since the beam is too small for the room, it was never an option. Now, the Arc. Finally. Exactly what I was looking for. A soundbar that is able replace my 5.1 speaker setup (it really performs at least as good as my old setup) and also offers Dolby Atmos (which my old setup was not able to handle). And, the TV room is finally part of my multiroom setup. The look of it might not appeal to everyone, but I personally like the "form follows function" design and I think that it integrates well into my home without being too prominent. Overall, a great product.

Really happy with this 5.1 system. Connected to Samsung 4K UHD through e Arc HDMI so it works flawlessly with TV remote. The wireless sub is fine for a smaller room and the rear surround speakers are wired to the wireless sub. Worked perfect for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the LG Soundbar S80TR, and it has totally upgraded my space. I have it set up in a bedroom that is used mostly for gaming and watching TV. I love that the rear speakers are wireless—no more tangled cables all over the place which is ideal for this space! The sound quality is amazing. With Dolby Atmos®, it feels like the sound is coming from all around me, which is perfect for not only movies but gaming as well. The bass is deep, the highs are clear, and the whole system delivers a rich, immersive audio experience. What I really appreciate is how the soundbar adapts to whatever I'm watching. Whether it's a movie, video game, or just some music, it automatically adjusts to give me the best sound. The remote is easy to use, and switching between different sound modes is super simple. It also pairs perfectly with my LG TV! Plus, it’s got all the connectivity options I need—Bluetooth, HDMI, and optical input—so it works great with all my devices. Overall, the LG Soundbar S80TR is a fantastic addition to my setup. It’s easy to use, sounds incredible, and looks sleek. I am very impressed with this soundbar. If you're looking to take your TV sound to the next level without investing into a whole entertainment system, I highly recommend this soundbar!

We decided to put real TV sound on our porch flat panel. Sonos is the only system that allows for a Dolby 5.1 system to be deployed without running wires. We used a PLAYBAR positioned beneath the TV and a Sonos BOOST to create a separate subnet for the SUB and two PLAY:3 speakers. The BOOST allows us to avoid any signal traffic interference with our porch wifi network. The BOOST also allows all of the wifi attached Sonos gear to look like a single device to the home network. The Sonos home theater gear all went together easily and configured quickly. We couldn't have been happier. We used an Ethernet drop to the porch to get the FiOS signal to both a Roku and a TiVo mini to drive the TV. We configured the TiVo remote control to handle the sound volume on the PLAYBAR and to select between the streaming sources ? Roku or TiVo/FiOS. Sonos made this configuration simple. The PLAYBAR/BOOST combination takes care of making sure the 5.1 volume is set correctly on the PLAYBAR/SUB/PLAY:3s. We were concerned that big sound would be difficult to pull off on a 20'x50' porch given that it was open on 3 sides. The sound field of the Sonos home theater system was mind boggling on every corner of the porch. We could turn it up to drowned out lawnmowers and leaf blowers. We actually mounted the TV/PLAYBAR/BOOST on a rolling cart (from Premier Mounts) so that it can be positioned to best suit where the audience is on the porch, or pushed back out of the way. We could not be happier with the way it turned out.

This is my first time buying a 5.1 surround soundbar, and I must say I'm pretty impressed with the sound.

I bought this tv in December with the B&H Payboo credit card, so I paid no sales tax. During that week B&H had a 10% off Sony special so I paid just under $4500 total with free shipping. Wow! The price was too hard to refuse. You have to love the specials only B&H periodically has. I had the tv in my living room in 5 days. I don't own an LG G3 or Samsung S95C to compare to, but I can attest that the picture on the A95L is amazing. I don't have cable so I just stream. I use the google Chromecast which is included in the tv. I run an HDMI eARC cable from the tv to my Samsung soundbar. What I love is the one Sony remote controls the soundbar through the eARC cable. I push power and it turns on the tv and soundbar and controls the sound. Everything is so simple. No more cable boxes for me with the separate remote. If I want cable again I'll stream Hulu or YouTube tv. Back to the picture - it's awesome what this tv does with 4k programs. Put on the Crown, or other movies or programs filmed in 4k and you feel like you are in the room it's so realistic. My suggestion is to watch in vivid picture mode, as there is a huge increase in brightness, and I believe definition. It's hard to watch anything in 1080p because there is no comparison. I did test the tv's sound, and my Samsung soundbar with sub is much better. That said, in my opinion the tv is better than advertised. I can't even describe how amazing it is to watch 4k content. It's unbelievably good. I love it!
