5.11 Hrt Watch Batteries

I use this with a Tamron 17-50 and a Pentax K-7. The HRT technology really makes a difference--I'm able to take photos in waning light that are impossible with my other circular polarizers.

This is my second Hoya HRT olarizing filter. I was very impressed with the one I had on my other lens that I bought another for my prime lens. The only time I take it off is in low light conditions when I need a little faster shutter speed.

There are many choices for a CPL filter and i opted for the HRT believing it would be a little brighter than some polarizing filters. I used it extensively on a recnt trip and the filter did not vignette on a 12mm MFT lens (24mm equivalent). I needed to use an elastic band to provide enough grip to remove the filter; i just left it on the filter while in the case so that it was always handy, leaving it in teh case while the filter was on teh lens.

I purchased this with an Olympus 12-60mm zoom and chose the HRT because although I normally carry a polarizing filter with me I rarely use one even when the effects on colours and sky would enhance my subjects because of the light loss. I was surprised at how much extra light is transmitted through the HRT and I still gained the skies and colours I like and I'm sure the built in UV filter can't hurt. This filter will be used much more often than my standard polarizer and I am contemplating getting another for my 70-300mm. I recommend anyone contemplating a polarizing filter to spend the bit extra as you will get extra use out of this filter. I love the thin profile - no danger of vignetting at the wider end.

Product arrived promptly and in excellent condition. Performance of the Hoya HRT circular polarizing filter is excellent and so was the price.

I had to watch a few Youtube clips to figure out the remote and technique and workflow for good time lapses. Overall its a simple easy to use set up well made rail and I am happy with it. My only annoyance is some of the settings have to be redone if you power off . Example if you forget to reset the start stop positions and don't watch it complete the sequence you find it tying to drive though the end stop with the belt slipping and if its not switched of damage to the pulley and belt. It really should loose 1 star for that. They do have a spare belt included. A pleasant surprise is the battery life is great and the batteries a common fitting so I can use Sony style batteries from my LED light.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We put the batteries in and were able to watch TV no set up required we love it! It was nicely packaged using non plastic wrap around the remote very impressive. My 4 yr old granddaughter's using it now.

This bumper is the best I have seen, you cant even tell its on the watch.
