55 Computer Desk With Shelves And Monitor Stand

Love the small profile of this computer - it tucks under the monitor stand on my desk without infringing on my workspace. I usually work in multiple programs simultaneously & this computer handles that without any problems.

Great stand. I am not using these (I have four) as monitor stands. I am using these in a bookshelf (shelves are deep and would waste bookspace). So I place these in the back to get a row of books in the back and then a row of books in the front. I have limited space and these gave me an extra 7 ft of workable and reachable bookshelf space. Perfect

I will start by saying it was missing a wheel nut but I was able to get one at the hardware store. The stand itself is very sturdy, I use microphone stand shelves (look up Gator microphone stand shelves on B&H) to hold a computer and some drives. You obviously want to avoid bumping it as the monitor will rock a little but that is to be expected. Definitely handles the weight and balances decently without an excessively large, intrusive base. If you have like 10” audio rack components, they stack nicely on the two metal parts of the base. While the top weight is limited to a 43” monitor/tv, the lower pole and assembly based on the wheel ratings and structure can hold much more additional weight on the lower half.

I had been waiting a long time for a 55 computer monitor. On several occasions I've spoken with the reps in B and H's computer department. I've always received expert help. For some time I've had the monitor in my Amazon order box. When I finally was able to purchase the monitor, I googled it, and was SHOCKED to discover B and H had a much better deal. I spoke once again to the experts in their computer department and indeed verified it's the exact monitor. It arrived quickly in perfect condition. I can't wait to visit the store oneday in NYC. I have a stand-up desk and previously had 2 monitors on it, which was awkward at best when I stood up. So I replaced the 2 monitors with one 40" monitor....which was even MORE cumbersome on the lift-up! I was desperate to find a way to make the monitor useful for both sitting and standing....and the Mount-It Tripod was the perfect solution. The Ergotron is well-built and accommodates a variety of monitor and computer options. The unit arrived well-packaged and partially assembled. Final assembly and setup took less than an hour. Using the desk, the sit/stand function works well, and the adjustable tension/lift-assist makes it easy to move the desk up and down. The casters are great on hard floors or tight pile carpeting. Overall, this is a great desk. It's a more expensive, but you get what you pay for in the quality of the build.
