The camera just does everything right. I upgraded from an EOS 5D mark iii. The mark iv takes better looking pictures (both RAW and JPG) than my previous camera did. The additional features make the shooting experience more enjoyable. Naturally B&H is THE place where I purchase my photographic equipment. 5 |

We owned PowerShot G9. I think that G12 is so much better. By putting a special bottom for over and under exposure it is almost equal to manual exposure control in much simpler way. Canon has put more controls in bottoms instead of menus. It is much quicker to use them when you become use to them. Another example is a second bottom to control speed/exposure. I think it was very wise to lower the megapixels count. The pictures are so much better. I have a Canon 5D Mark II. My wife and I have the G12 to take snapshots of family, mostly flash pictures using the one which is in the camera. G12 makes it possible to take pictures in low light with flash and long exposure so the surroundings can be seen. (It is difficult to do it handheld without a support and the white balance is set on the flash and the lights are usually with warmer colour.) If one can held the camera steady I think is nice. On usually has a lot of pictures of same persons and the most important difference is the different surroundings. My friend is not very keen photographer but wanted to own expensive cameras like the EOS 5D. After my advice he bought G11 and is more satisfied with it than he was with the old EOS 5D. He likes the possibility to take panorama pictures where he can see part of the first picture when he takes the second one. The reason why we bought PhowerShot G9 was the possibility to shoot RAW. The picture from G12 are so much better. It is a camera simple enough for beginners and advanced enough to be a second camera for more advanced photographer or to be a steppingstone towards SLR. 5 |

Awesome little camera. I have a 5D MKII and the pictures are just a step behind that camera in normal lighting. Resolution and clarity of kit lens is actually stunning for the price. Just a notch below my 24-105mm L lens. I use it when I don't want to lug around my larger camera. Also having the built in flash is a bonus. 5 |

After years of packing around Canon 5D and several lens, including L series 28 to 300, plus flash, the weight became to much. After a visit to B&H last fall, I was introduced to Sonys Bridge Camera. I was amazed by some of the pictures the gentleman behind the counter shared with me, So much so after returning home I did some more research on the RX-10 IV. Needless to say I bought one. We just returned from a 4 day weekend trip to Monument Valley, Arches National Park, and Canyon Lands. What a joy this camera was! No heavy camera and lens to pack around. The pictures were great! This for sure is a great travel camera and will go with me on many more trips. 5 |

Great way for me to use my Leica R lenses without having to spring for a DMR for my R8. Wonderful pictures on my 5D. 5 |

I have been doing virtual tours for a local real estate agent for the past 3 or 4 years. I started with the original EOS 5D and a Canon EF 17-40mm, f/4L lens, and soon upgraded the camera body to the 5D Mk lll. I continued to use the same 17-40 lens. The problem with the 17 x 40 lens was that most of the time I had to stitch 2 shots together to show rooms in their entirety. This was time consuming, and even using PhotoShop to stitch the pictures, distortion was almost always present. I hesitated at first when I saw that this new lens was finally being released, I have to admit the price was what was holding me back, as well as the fact that there were no reviews available to get feed back from other buyers. I finally decided to take a chance and I ordered the lens. I've only had it for a couple of weeks now, and in that time I've used it to do virtual tours on two properties.......Long story short, I'm blown away. The pictures it takes are great! The only negative thing I have to say about it other than the cost is it's weight.......I won't be using it very much with the neck strap, bottom line is.......I love it....... 5 |

As soon as it arrived, I put it on my Canon 5D with the 70-200 f2.8L lens to see how the pictures would turn out. They were perfectly clear. I tried it on a small bird at around 150 yards. I was using a monopod. I am very pleased with the results. 5 |

I am thrilled with the Canon 2x iii extender. Pictures are tack sharp and used with the Canon 5D, Mark 3, the extender is very fast. 5 |
