I will use this remote to trigger my Canon 5D Mark II on a tripod. Mainly to shoot night shots and macro photography where no vibration is crucial. I love that it is wireless. I was also happy to learn that it came with a case that you can attach to your strap so it wouldn't get lost. Just to let you know, if you order this, the battery is already in the remote. I didn't know so I had to check and it was a bit difficult to open the battery compartment. 5 |

I have used a battery grip with my 5D Mark II for years. I like the additional reserve power but mostly I like the added heft of the camera and the ease of switching landscape to portrait mode with stability. This applies very well to my new 5D Mark IV. 5 |

I bought a used 5D Mark II. I bought a generic battery charger for it. The thing worked only a couple of weeks. So I opted for the Canon LP-E6. I had them for my old Canon 20D and 7D and never had a problem with them. Ever. So even though I've only had this one for a month, I'm confident I spent my money well. It's not a bargain if you waste your money. Go with the manufacturer's gear. It's less expensive in the long run. 5 |

This bag actually holds my 1DS Mark II and 5D Mark II with vertical battery grip. What is even nicer is that I can use the shoulder strap that comes with the camera or I mount the digital holster on a military style utility belt. I love this product. I love it so much I have two of them. 5 |

Using this attached to a Canon 70-200is II L lens adds the extra reach needed for nature photography while maintaining IQ. Have produced really sharp images using a canon eos 5d mark ii at 2500 iso hand held. The loss of fast af is not an issue as on the 5d mark ii body mannuel focus is much needed to learn how to use. 5 |
