The camera just does everything right.  I upgraded from an EOS 5D mark iii.  The mark iv takes better looking pictures (both RAW and JPG) than my previous camera did.  The additional features make the shooting experience more enjoyable.  Naturally B&H is THE place where I purchase my photographic equipment.

Bought this for my new Canon 5D Mark IV. I've always bought the grips for my Canon cameras because of the versatility of having the camera controls when shooting vertically and having the extra battery capacity. The grip also seems to balance the camera out especially with bigger lenses. Seems these grips get exponentially more expensive with each new model, but they add value when time to sell your camera body. Previous grips had a door on the back that popped open quickly with the push of a button for battery removal/insertion. This grip has a tray that slides in the left side. It's took a few tries to get the batteries seated correctly in the tray. As usual, there's a slot area on the actual grip for storing the battery cover that you remove from the camera prior to attaching the grip. You can buy a cheaper version of this grip, but I find you usually recover more of your investment by buying Canon brands. Grip works as expected.

The mark iv iteration of Canon's 5D is vastly improved over earlier versions of this camera. The new sensor is not only capable of greater detail, but more importantly, it allows shadows to be pulled up in post processing without the introduction of massive amounts of noise, as was the case with all the previous 5Ds and the 6D as well. My only caveat is that the complexity of the focusing system is a bit daunting. And the manual, which must have been translated into English by someone who doesn''t speak the language, is thoroughly confusing on how to set up short cuts to access the various focusing modes quickly. All in all, a terrific professional tool, and worth every penny. I thought for half a minute about buying a Sony a7r ii, but quickly gave up that idea mostly because that camera has only one memory card slot, and if your card goes bad in the middle of shooting an event that can't be repeated, you've ruined both the event and your reputation as a photographer.

I have the black version of this strap on my 5d mark iv for years now. Used both with the battery grip and without. Has been great for me and my use. When I got my new r6, I wanted a new one for this camera body since I love my old one (which I still use with my 5d). Was excited to see there were color options which I don't believe exist with my previous purchase. In short if you use a spider holster, I feel this hand strap is a must, as I feel the camera is more secure in my hands and actually saves (my small hands) from getting fatigued from gripping so tightly bc I'm nervous the camera will skip.

Excellent photography backpack. I already own a blue version of the older model the 16L and loved it. This newer version does not change much. The dimensions are practically the same. I initially looked around for a long time for a low profile photography backpack that would accommodate a full sized SLR (such as my 5D Mark IV). Many were adequate but just too bulky. This backpack is perfect as the height of about 6 inches just accommodates the profile of my my 5D Mark IV. The main camera compartment is able to fit a 5D Mark IV with a 24-70mm f/2.8 attached. It fits snug but the compartment is generously protected with padding on all sides so I am ok with that. I would not be able to fit much else inside the main camera compartment except for maybe a battery charger or something similar (1.5 x 4 in size). The two side pockets are about 6-7 deep and wide enough to fit a water bottle. The front tablet compartment is great and though I dont carry a tablet much it is perfect for flat things such as papers and magazines. The top compartment is very big and you can fit tons in there. For example I can fit my 70-200 f4, 24-70 f/2.8 and my 600EX-RT flash in there. Not to mention the zipper compartment which can also hold memory cards and spare batteries. The shoulder straps are very comfortable . I have used this on a day hiking trip, using the extra room for food and snacks, as well as week-long vacations as it holds a variety of equipment. I have luckily never had to use the weather proof cover but that is always a useful feature. I would highly recommend this backpack to all. It may be catered or advertised toward smaller SLRs or mirrorless cameras, but it can definitely hold a full sized camera. Keep in mind that it would NOT be able to fit a camera with a battery grip.
