5V 1.8A Psu With A Micro Usb Cable

Needed this for charging from a micro-USB cable. Works great for that.

I have another review that I wrote about this mic, but B&H's website doesn't appear to let me update that review. I've now been using this mic almost daily for over a year. The audio is crisp and clear, background noise is kept to a minimum, and people on the other end of the meeting/phone call give compliments on the detail that this mic captures. I used to use a condenser mic, but that also had the annoying feature of picking up a lot of 60Hz hum. This mic doesn't do that and I didn't have to make any adjustments to the room either. For the person who mentioned they couldn't fit it in a shockmount, it has one internally. That is why the mic is the size that it is. For those complaining about the USB port, mine hasn't had any issues. I accidentally bent the micro usb connector on the cheap cable they shipped with it and the mic survived just fine. The cable, on the other hand, was useless after that. I solved this problem by finding a 90 degree USB adapter so that the connector isn't pointing straight out the back of the mic. It now sits mostly flush and swiveling the mic is more likely to cause the adapter to disconnect at the other end. If your laptop, like mine, is usb-c only, don't try to buy long usb-c to usb-c cables. They are crazy expensive. Instead, try to buy a usb-c to mini or micro usb-b cable. They are much cheaper. My setup is usb-c to micro usb (10 feet), then an adapter from micro-usb to usb-c (1 inch), and then finally a short usb-c to 90 degree micro-usb adapter (6 inches).

Buy a longer cord like the USB 3.0 A/ML to MICRO B/ML CABLE - 3'

The cable is well made, not flimsy. The USB & micro USB plugs plugged in smoothly with no struggle. Recommended.

By far the best and most reliable USB to Micro-B cable I've found. Frustration takes a back seat to quality.

I have just recieved the recorder and so far i have found that everything about the unit is fantstic . I am running the unit on an external 5v portable universal USB battery power bank mobile phone charger. The unit is extreemly user friendly . Adapts a d/p tap to usb 5v, and gives two more ports. Voltage and current seem consistent. Highly reccomend

I think this makes sense to upgrade to. It's a double barrel charger, with a smart interface on the front. Comes with different plates for different sized Nikon batteries (I use only EN-EL15). Smart decision to add a 5V USB out on the back so you can charge a phone or other USB-charged device fit for a 5V intake. Very will built too, not plasticky at all so I'm glad I made the upgrade. Got a Nikon branded EN-EL15c battery half-off when purchasing too, so it was a nice promo to cash in on.

This cable has given new life to my workflow with some of my older hard drives. I have a lot of external hard drives that are older and use Micro-B ports to connect. This has been a pain in the neck to connect to my laptop that only has USB-C ports or to my desktop USB-C hub. This cable makes it so easy and gives great transfer speeds. It worked flawlessly right out of the package. Plugged one end to my hard drive and the other to my PC's Xcellon USB-C hub and the drive was recognized and worked immediately. It is so much easier and convenient having this cable. It is my go-to cable now for any peripheral that uses a USB Micro-B connection. I also love the flexibility that it works with Thunderbolt 3 and 4 ports, that's nice. The build quality is also very good. This is a well-constructed cable that feels high quality. The materials feel good and strong yet still flexible. It feels like a very expensive and well-made cable, and the connectors feel like good quality too. The connections seemed secure and fit well. I think this cable will last a long time. Overall, I'm very impressed with this cable and know it improved my workflow, which is both helpful and appreciated.
