The best thing about this surge protector is that it includes usb-c and usb-a powering ports which I don't think is common these days on surge protectors. With a 6 foot robust cable and a right angle plug, I'm able to connect all of my devices to this surge protector and call it a day. I like that the top red led light is subtle and the on and off power switch is on the sides. This surge protector replaces my my old surge protector that only had 5 outlets and no usb-c out puts. I already had one of these, needed a second one for an outlet near the nightstand. This device is useful in that it gives you six outlets with surge protection and also 2 USB ports. It also warns you if your power outlet is not grounded. Belkin is truly a reliable brand in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this Belkin outlet because it is much thinner than other surge protectors I have had in the past and allows for 8 different items to be plugged in. I put this in my office and was able to plug in my computer, printer, wi-fi router, and fan. There was plenty of availability for other items as well if I need it. I trust the Belkin name to protect my products and I felt that my items are well protected from surges with this item.

I think that having a surge protector is a must at every outlet, especially if you live in an area prone to power outages or storms. This surge protector outlet gives you 6 outlets + two usb-a and one usb-c outlet. The usb-c outlet has a PD (power delivery) of 20 watts which is a good amount of power to power devices. Another great feature to this surge protector is that it has two dedicated light indicators. One to indicate that the surge protector is on and one to show the the device's surge feature is active.
