6 Volt Sealed Rechargeable Battery

Maybe this isn't quite what Sony had in mind for it's adapter. I use a 12 volt dc sealed cell battery, plug a 120 volt converter into that, then convert it back into dc with the Sony adapter. I do that for extreme extended battery use for astrophotography field use. It seems to work fine. There's no overheating in any part of my contraption, including the Sony Adapter.

I bought the open box special with the rechargeable battery. Was very pleased to get the light in a sealed box. Charged the battery and was most pleasantly surprised. Light is very compact and handy. For my uses it puts out a goodly amount of light. The focus feature works nicely with a neat working lock. Overall a great little light that does all I want.

worked just like the product I replaced except uses a double A battery instead of a nine volt.

Love this flash because of the weather-sealed design, the cooling system, and the rechargeable batteries. The rechargeable battery is more convenient than a bunch of AA batteries, provides lots of shots, promotes faster recycle times, and is convenient as it utilizes the same charger as the batteries for the R5/R6 cameras.

Great light but getting the rechargeable battery will make you use it so much more often.

This battery is everything I would expect out of a quality rechargeable battery.

Great rechargeable battery! Can't really rate it yet. It is my backup battery. I will know more when I need to use it!
