60 Mbps Wireless Router

We have a n router, not an AC standard router, but, compared to the adapter built into our relatively new laptop, the wireless download speed increased from about 20 Mbps to 36. Our hard wired service from Comcast into the router is about 85-90 Mbps so there is speed loss in wireless, but it's much less with this adapter than the one that is built into our Dell laptop. Plus, if we ever buy a new router, (and possible upgrade our Comcast internet service), we may be able to take advantage of the higher AC band speed. 5 |

I am very impressed with the RT2600AC Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Router. It was very easy to setup and update the firmware. It was so much easier than the troublesome TP-Link Archer AC1900 that I replaced. The Synology Router firmware does not require compression software. You just click find update and load it with the control software that is included. The dual bands are more than capable of handling many devices with ease. I have the Blast 150 Mbps package and my Xfinity speeds are now 230-240 Mbps. I am extremely pleased and highly recommend this router. I will buy Synology again. B&H is also fantastic. 5 |

I was having issues with my smart devices and streaming HDTV. My wireless system was only giving me about 100 Mbps even though my cable internet was 800 Mbps. I looked into buying faster internet and discovered if I I wanted the cable company’s top speed of 1.2 Gbps, I needed a new modem. I purchased the latest and greatest cable modem, which was one model newer and capable of 2.5 Gbps. My internet speed didn’t get better. So, I decided to replace my wireless router. I researched the wireless routers available. The three key areas I concentrated on were the WAN connection speed, coverage and wireless specifications included. The ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 was the best in all three categories and the only router I found that had all three top of the line specifications. WAN - 2.5 Gbps Wireless - WiFi 6E Home Coverage - One router and one node replaced one router and five nodes. My coverage is better with less nodes. All my smart devices and my streaming HDTV are working great and I’m getting 950 Mbps internet speed. Smartest upgrade I’ve made. 5 |

I got this router on a crazy sale for about $60. Ive had it now for about 2 weeks and its been great! Compared to my last router I actually get the speeds I pay for. I pay for 400 Mbps from my provider and with my previous router I was getting less than 300 when wired and less than 200 wireless, I now get 420+ on both wired and wireless devices. Huge upgrade for amazing price. I would recommend this router even at its full price honestly. Worth every penny. 5 |

I bought this and the nighthawk router, paired together they work great and I’m getting more MBPS than I am even paying for! 5 |

Comes with USB 3.0 cable, transfer is fast (50-60 mBps), nice and small. Has a 1-year warranty with Western Digital. Easy to carry around due to it being a portable hard drive, so it does not need a separate power adapter. 5 |

Replacing the router I had with CM1000 solved all the problems I had with my wifi speed. The speed rose from 75 Mbps to over 300 Mbps which was what I was supposed to get. The installation is easy and Netgear has simplified it to the greatest extent. The price paid is well worth! Go ahead if you are undecided to buy one! 5 |

Right up front I am very happy with the Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro and the associated accessories I got to complete the setup. To round out the needed equipment I also got two nanoHD APs, one UAP-AC-PRO, and a US-16-150W managed POE switch. I am not affiliated with anyone in this business, and I personally purchase everything I own. Going to Ubiquiti was a big step for me. At around 2700 sq ft my house is not that big, but I have around 50+ network devices and some of their their locations are at the extremes of the residence with some being outside. I also have a Comcast Xfinity internet plan that provides for 600 mbps down and 15 mbps up. I have tried three different high end mesh router systems (not Ubiquiti) and never quite got to the experience and performance I wanted. I found all of the MESH systems a bit quirky regarding stability and hit and miss with speed. My experience with the UDMP has been great so far (about two weeks). I feel like there might be more to gain in the area of tuning, which is all part of the adventure, but if it gets no better at all I will still be very happy. The system is very stable, has fabulous features, and gives me 300-500 WiFi speeds which is great. There are some caveats and potential downsides here that should be mentioned. The UDMP is a great piece of equipment and is the heart of the Unifi network, should you choose this controller, but this is not a typical consumer product like an off the shelf router. Do your homework before jumping into this, because there are several parts that need to work together, a fair amount of work putting it all in, and a bit of networking know-how getting things all configured. Don’t expect any instructions or a user manual. You might not know what to do with it out of the box, but there is plenty of help online. For the technical go-getter with some time and money to spare you will have a really great system when it’s complete. 5 |

for a few months now i have been researching what is the best router on the market and came across this GEM. I use to rent a Modem/Router combo from my internet provider which was garbage. even forking out a premium to get Gigabit speeds i would only see a fraction of that even when i was hard wired in. Since day one i have noticed dramatic speed and reliability across my home with no dead spots. hard wire i am getting speeds of 980 Mbps and on wireless i get 550 Mbps even from the farthest room from the router. Hands down this router has exceeded my expectation and highly recommend it. I know its a bit pricey but for the speeds and reliability that this router has provided in just a few weeks is worth every penny. 5 |
