6000 Mah Dc Rechargeable Battery Pack 12 Volt

Maybe this isn't quite what Sony had in mind for it's adapter. I use a 12 volt dc sealed cell battery, plug a 120 volt converter into that, then convert it back into dc with the Sony adapter. I do that for extreme extended battery use for astrophotography field use. It seems to work fine. There's no overheating in any part of my contraption, including the Sony Adapter.

I have a the charger Canon makes but wanted a backup. Not only is the Pearstone charger about half the price of Canon's,it also comes with a 12-volt DC attachment so I can charge batteries in my car and with a plug adapter that is the one most commonly needed one in Europe - Canon's charger does not have these.

I upgraded from a D7000, and am very pleased. The resolution step-up was more than sufficient for me. My D7000 batteries work in it, so with the 2 that I bought, I have more than enough. I took it on a 2-week Grand Canyon trip. I used up 2 of the ENEL15A's from the D7000, and half of one of the new ones. I took around 240 photos and a couple of video segments. My observations: - Great dynamic range - Whites will clip if the internal meter is more than halfway up the scale - I have not seen any banding in my photos - Live histogram in the viewfinder is awesome - Locking mode dial is a big help c/w the D7000 - Idiosyncratic viewscreen activation, I switched to manual - extendable viewscreen is a huge plus - Playing with all of these features and the touchscreen consumes more battery than you might expect based just on # shots - I did not try to charge it though I had a solar panel, a folding 7-watt type. It could just charge a 6000 mAh GoalZero. I couldn't charge all of the time because of raft conditions and angles / shadows. I think that the ENEL15b is probably around 6000-8000 mAh from what I have read. If wanted to seriously charge these batteries in the field, I would consider a 20 Watt or higher panel, charge a battery pack, and then transfer the charge to the camera at night. This was exactly what I was looking for. The battery pack is rechargeable and fits in the flashlight. very easy to use.

I love this camera, it’s one of my favourite so far. The fact that under status you can tell you are using the 12 volt SPYPOINT battery is wonderful addition. The only thing left to make it better is to indicate the power left on you 12 volt external battery

I am very please on this Watson NP-E3 NiMH Battery Pack so far. It't holding up compare to the Higher mAh models I tried in the past also the price was excellent too.

Using a RavPower 28600 mAh battery pack I've been able to power my GH5 camera recording 4K 10-bit video for 12.5 hours. My GH5 got fairly warm, but everything worked flawlessly. I may use this system to power the new Blackmagic Pocket Cine Camera 4K by adding a $35 Canon LP-E6 battery adapter to my kit.

The batteries in my camera only last about 20 minutes each, with this adapter and a 10,000 mAh battery pack, I was able to record non-stop for over 6 hours. It is so simple and works perfectly!
