60W Vs 80W Macbook Charger

I already own an 80W competitive brand and the 60W version of this light. There is a slight color cast variation with the 80W and this light but, the 60W Godox is spot on. After reading and reviewing every review on this brighter SL-200 Light and others in a similar category, I decided to buy it. Its fantastic!  Some have mentioned that the fan makes noise. My experience so far is that all of these spot style video lights make some noise. I use a mid-range lavalier mic and the noise is insignificant (meaning I can't hear it). I use an app on my phone that measures decibels. Frankly, my air conditioner makes way more noise than any of my lights. I am not using these in a controlled, sound studio environment so, maybe my experience would be different if that were the case. Also, maybe High-end shotgun mics (that some may use) in close proximity are more sensitive?  I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This light will do everything I need it to do. And at a price I can afford. This light came with a very flexible, direct connect power cord. If you need to work in the field, you may want to consider one of their newer, higher price point products that work with batteries. I'm sure they're equally good. Especially when power is not readily available. There were less expensive options online but, I noticed that some were no longer supported or offered by the manufacturer. I know this design has been around for awhile but, it's everything I need. Your mileage may vary but, I would not hesitate to buy this light again!

My little macbook wasn't able to power up a dvd player. I plugged this in with a 60w power supply and I have a machine that is a speed demon reading and writing dvds.

Don't get it wrong, this are not the most expensive or well built on the market, but for 80W they are extremely bright and powerful. I recommend it for budget job no question asked!.

Solid USB C monitor with 80W charging, a great addition to a Lenovo laptop. Sleek and thin, fits well into a home office.

I just started swapping over to continuous lighting for my headshot studio work. I now have 2 plugin LED lights. An 80W from another vendor and now this 100W unit. I'm impressed how much brighter this Godox 100W is versus the 80W from GVM. Since it does not have a battery option, it's only really good for studio use.
