7Th Grade School Supply Shopping List

My first major use of this lens was at my kid's 7th grade night-time indoor roller rink party, with a D300 and it included low-light disco lighting, w/ and w/o SB800 flash, action, long shots, close shots, portraits, group shots, a few goofy long exposures for fun, and the lens did everything for me marvelously. I can't wait to take it on my vacation in a few months to tropical climes. I do have to travel with a few other lenses to complete my toolbox, but this lens is great and the VR really is amazing.

I have a nine year old nephew, Joseph, that put this on his shopping list. So I know this has got to be the best available on the market for the price. Why? Because Joe is a meticulous product researcher and if this got on his wish list... well.... i don't need to know anything else... and neither do you.

One of my most used items from a long list of purchases from Peak Design. This simple little thing is great for grocery shopping or picking up small items when out and about. Very easy to pack and looks great when in use.

I absolutely love this device. Literally does everything from helping me organize a shopping list to Waking me up in the morning. A must have.

I initially put this case on my shopping list to use as a carryon for travel assignments and also as a way to store gear in my basement without worrying about dust and moisture. It has become the case that travels to every assignment. I may buy a second one with the alternate lid organizer for overflow gear. A couple of points to keep in mind: -- The pouch of a laptop dwarfs the current 13 Macbook Pro Retina. . . by a lot. I still have not worked out how to use it with the laptop without worrying about it swimming around in the case. -- If you use full size camera bodies (Canon 1D, etc) or a body with a vertical grip, you need to be strategic about where you place them or there won't be enough clearance for the laptop or other items in the second pouch.

I've had various sizes of apple boxes in my wish list for years, but never felt like I had a need to move them to my shopping cart. I always found other solutions. I finally bought a pair of the 1/2 mini boxes and suddenly I feel like I need all the other sizes. They are strong enough to support people or bulky objects, and the finish is good enough to keep them in plain sight in your studio. I'm using these to hold up small studio monitors on my desk. As I get more I know that they will be useful - and as dependable as all my Matthews gear.

This bag is perfect for my Fuji X-Pro2 with three lenses. And I still have room for one more lens on my B&H shopping list. I also have plenty of room for a Rugged Leda Memory Card case, along with lens cleaning stuff and more.

This thing is awesome! Does everything I need it to do. One thing to be aware of - it DOES come with a power supply, even though it's not listed in the What's In The Box list.

I didn't know what these were for when I bought it, I just bought what was on my class supply list. I think it was a little pricy, but it works great and I do like having different colored sides.
