8 Inch Studio Monitors Too Big Desk Nearfield

Using these stands to support large JBL nearfield studio monitors. Work quite well. Light weight and very stable. Easy to move around as needed. 5 |

I just replaced my 28 inch monitors by these. I wanted to go larger, but the real estate of my desk for two monitors limited the size. However, the additional 3 1/2 inches made a huge difference in screen readability. The monitors are sharp and uniform in color consistency. I actually turned off the HDR and color Calibrated each one. They are near perfect match to my prints out of the PS, 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This curved 34 inch curved monitor is breathtaking. This monitor literally took the place kd 3 individual monitors and opened up so much desk space the sleek thin design takes minimal airspace above my desk making my office work station has eliminated my closed in, clostrophic feeling completely away and I have noticed my Administrative time has been more efficient. I increased my work speed by 15% allowing me to finish my paperwork muck quicker and more accurate closing reports. Just taking the closed in feeling away has changed my brain process while in the office. No sure I this is a good thing, but I enjoy working in my office now. The colors are so vibrant and with more pixels, create a very clear, crisp, and vibrant display when going over the CCTV coverage, the curved design has eliminated the glare from the office lights, and the long panoramic view can display the same programs as my three monitor display I converted from. Putting this bad boy next to my 21 inch monitors, they look so insignificant. The quality craftsmanship construction, you can feel that this is a monitor build to last. It's semi-light weight and ergonomically designed curve makes relocating the monitor hassle free and quick. There are plenty of ports on the back and control buttons are easy to use and sturdy...no buttons wiggle. 5 |

Perfect for the price. The genius that says that it was impossible to lift after adding two 23 inch monitors apparently didnt know that there is a tension adjustment on the top of the base pillar. I have two 23 inch monitors installed and it works great. Up and down with ease. No issues at all. Dont let uninformed opinions dissuade you from getting a quality product at a reasonable price.Only caveat is that the desk needs to be fairly narrow for the keyboard tray to clear the desk completely. The apparent design was to have the keyboard tray resting on top of the desk since there are two pads underneath the tray itself. Not a deal breaker, but could be an ergonomic issue for you short people, depending on the desk height. Your thighs might not be parallel to the floor.Overall, a very decent mount for the money. 5 |

Using this in my desktop nearfield setup with a pair of JBL 308p MKIIs. Crossed over at 60Hz with a 12db slope they fill in the low end perfectly. Tight and controlled, doesn't sound boomy. Size is perfect to sit under my desk (granted I have a pretty large 72x39 desk so might be a tighter fit depending on your space). Can't speak for home theater usage, but I'm running this at 50% power and the bass presence is definitely elevated well above reference levels. Fairly confident this would work well in a small to medium sized living room setup. For a larger space I'd probably want something bigger, or at least a ported sub like the PB series. 5 |

Nothing crazy here, just simple foam isolation pads for desktop nearfield monitors. They fit under my iLoud MTM's and separate the bass rumble from the desk for a cleaner sound. 5 |

This is a fantastic option for mixing sound for videos nd music if you cant afford great nearfield monitors and great acoustics in your studio. Its flat response is really impressive. 5 |

I use it to connect powered nearfield monitors to a PC. It is clean and provides pristine sound. No hum! 5 |

First, 60W will probably meet your needs in a small video studio. I only use 2-8% of the output. Secondly, a standard modifier platform (Bowens' S mount), has saved me a great deal of time. The lower cost silent heads would only accept barndoors, gaffing tape and aluminum foil. Far Far easier to repurpose old modifiers or purchase new. Previously, I would have to retape the foil at inopportune times. SILENCE is critical for me. Recording a cast once correctly is worth all the post processing in the world. Nothing beats SILENCE. 5 |
