I was on the fence about buying this because of the price. Finally bought it when it went on sale and I am so glad I did. The bass that come from this little speaker is absolutely amazing. My only regret is I didn't buy it sooner. Watching TV and movies is now on another level. High recommend to anyone thinking about it.

Got these on sale for $39. Needed something over the ear due to the fact that I wear behind the ear hearing aids. These sound good and are very comfortable to wear for an extended listening period. Can't go wrong. If you're looking for super bass look elsewhere. These reveal tight accurate bass.

First, 60W will probably meet your needs in a small video studio. I only use 2-8% of the output. Secondly, a standard modifier platform (Bowens' S mount), has saved me a great deal of time. The lower cost silent heads would only accept barndoors, gaffing tape and aluminum foil. Far Far easier to repurpose old modifiers or purchase new. Previously, I would have to retape the foil at inopportune times. SILENCE is critical for me. Recording a cast once correctly is worth all the post processing in the world. Nothing beats SILENCE.

It takes some getting used to. I always shoot it at EI 100. It has all the tonal range you need right there. It always requires underdevelopment though, anywhere from 8% -15%. The highlights blow out very easily, and this helps control them. Scratches easily, a bit softer than HP5. The lack of grain looks phenomenal at a large scale.
