the design is outstanding. it would be greater if the lid was removable.

Perfect for carrying the beauty dish - much better than using the cardboard box. :)

So this is a great scanner . I use it for my artwork. The detail is great. I was really worried the lid would not be easily removable because I need it off when I do scans. But very simple just remove a few screws. My first scan I did not need to alter or adjust with paint of lightroom . My older scanner everything need to be adjusted. I love that it is a large format scanner.

I love my QL-800 had it running about 5 minutes out of the box.

We were able to get about 1,380 slides in ours - standard cardboard mounts. Good sturdy box.

Fine film---as always. Arrived in a battered cardboard box half broken open---probably the shipper's fault.

Got this for my Benq W1100 projector. Cardboard box was wearing out, and needed something stronger.

Awesome lens for scenery, landscapes, cramped interiors ... really opens things up! Packaging was excellent, lens was inside a sturdy metal box with heavy duty foam inserts, inside a durable cardboard box, inside a padded cardboard box from B&H. This lens seems very well built, gives sharp images, and has features I wish other lens makers would use in their lenses; the hyper-focal distance scale, click stop infinity detent, and raised 'lever' on focusing ring to name a few. I would definitely recommend this lens as an inexpensive, lightweight, super-ultra-wide-angle lens !!!

This is the first lock I've had that is both TSA approved and able to get thru both halves of the lid to lock the box closed.
