8Gb Ram 1Tb Hdd Windows Laptop

Happy with my 1TB hard drive and 8gb ram, which I can upgrade myself. This is why I love this computer.

My laptop came with 8gb of ram. I upgraded to 16 and it is much faster.

Bought to upgrade the Labtop RAM, which now runs faster since windows 10 uses a lot of RAM, went from 8Gb to 16Gb, also the Photos load faster as well.

I have a Samsung SSD and a WD Black 1TB HDD. Been using them since 2015, (I don't keep my PC powered on 24/7, I only turn it on when I'm using it). Anyways. I trust WD HDDs. Have read a lot more good reviews of it than the Seagates. WD costs a bit more. My 1TB WD black drive was around $75 while a similar speed Seagate costs a lot less for double the storage capacity. After 2 weeks of thinking I finally bought the Seagate 2tb 7200rpm drive. The drive did not show up in BIOS or in Windows. Even the Windows Parton l partition manager didn't detect it. The easiest way is to boot your PC with the Windows installation disk. Then go to drive selection window and format the newly installed drive from there and now it will be detected in Windows and in BIOS. While I was copying my backup files, the drive did make a slight sound but it went away. This drive is fast. And surprisingly, this drive is much thinner than the WD 1tb black drive I have. Twice the storage, same rpm as the WD HDD but thinner profile! The drive did not come with any screws or data cables. While transferring my backup files to it (100gb of games), this drive reached 40 degrees while my WD was at around 36 degrees.i just hope my drive lasts long without issues.

most imp thing is a MacBook with RAM more than 8GB, so any apple propcessor with more than 8GB is an awesome laptop

My work laptop was becoming sluggish with work apps and Firefox, clearly 8GB is not enough anymore, Win10 has a weird way to manage RAM. This module hit the spot for one RAM slot laptop motherboards, works perfectly on a Yoga260, no issues at all for a decent price.

My wife's laptop came with decent processor power and 8GB RAM, performance was OK but she was not happy about some delays while working in photo editing programs. My older Dell laptop (inspiron 15-7569) came with only 8gb ram; upgrading to 16gb was the best option other than buying a new laptop. So for under $70 I get a performance boost and don't have to shell out $1000 for a new laptop. And I did it myself using instructions found on the Crucial website.
