A Good First Professional Camera

First of all let me start by saying that I am not a professional. I purchase the A7III in December, 2019 and it is my first full frame camera that I planned on using primarily for wildlife photos. I am using the FE 200-600 G OSS Lens which gives me wonderful photos. I don't use a blind or a hide so I decided to try the 2X Teleconverter after I found it was difficult to get as close as I would have liked to at times without scaring what I was trying to photograph. I did find that camera settings may need a little tweaking to adjust for lighting conditions. The photos that I have attached are crops and were shot handheld or while leaning against a tree.

First set of lights I bought and they are perfect for what I need! The soft lights make the products look very professional!

First time for me using the Anchor Links. Found out about them from a professional videographer. Happy I did, I really like them.

First time to purchase - heavy tripod - looks professional and holds my professional camcorder.

First off - don’t believe the L Mount junk everyone is saying. There is a large offering of lenses releasing soon and the F4 24-105 is so incredible it could come glued to the camera and I doubt I’d care! Additionally, I have the sigma EF adapter and use a Canon 50mm 1.4 and a Canon 70-200 2.8 and they look insanely good as well on this camera. Second - I came from GH5 AND Sony A9 AND Sony A7iii... this camera replaced ALL THREE off those cameras with flying colors even before the Vlog upgrade that’s about to drop! User Interface - Nothing beats Lumix! Color Science - Very good. Low Light - Beats even the Sony’s Focus - Photos, completely useable... not quite as fast or accurate as Sony A9 but very very close. Video, No less reliable than the Sony. Meaning that even on both cameras you’re going to have to watch these cameras depending on what you’re filming and make sure they nailed it. I struggle no less with this than with the Sony.

First and foremost: It was in stock and immediately available. The camera pictures look good and have good resolution. The color and lighting are good. It can sit on top of a monitor or laptop. I put it on a small tripod. The microphone is excellent. I wish it had a zoom feature.

Hard to say enough good things about this microphone. First, RODE always seems to put out great stuff; the quality is awesome. The mount is great, the overall size is perfect, the mic itself looks really good on-camera, the adjustable volume control is something every mic should have, the sound is awesome, the controls are intuitive and the rechargeable battery seems to last forever. Got this to do scratch audio for projects, but honestly I’ve used the audio from this for a few run and gun things and have been very pleased. Game-changing camera-top shotgun mic.

First off, I'm new to this type of camera. I've only had good but still point and shoot cameras. I bought a Nikon D7200 camera and lens kit, not too impressed with the two lens that came with it. Did a little research and for the money this seemed like a good lens. It's a great lens for what I need it to do. I take landscape mostly and this is very good for that. I set it to infinity and it's amazing how everything is sharp and in focus. Love this lens and camera.
