A Rubber Band Is An Unlikely Instrument Trailer

Bought this for a specific purpose to record my daughters band playing on a float in a parade. Last year filmed them with GoPro attached to trailer but the audio was terrible. Found a good place to mount the H1n at the front of the trailer and let it record the whole time. Was very pleased with the sound quality that it produced which I used for the audio track of the recording. For next show (will be stationary) I plan to compare with the external mic that I use with my DSLR to record their shows. 5 |

I ordered this for transporting mics for a ten-piece band on flights and in our trailer. Typical mic cases don't work for us as only a handful of our mics are the standard handheld mic form factor. The dividers allow me to fit weird shaped mics in their pouches and to organize the mics by model so it's easy to see when something is missing before closing it. It's small enough to check but large enough to store everything we need. 5 |

Band works well and much better than a standard rubber band. I use it to lock in a focus length when I'm walking around since zoom lenses tend to creep when hanging by the sling I use. It's easy enough to push out of the way and the lens will move again without resistance but even with the band in place it's possible to zoom in and out with a little more force. BOTTOM LINE: If you have lens creep occurring this will fix the problem and is an easy and relatively inexpensive solution. 5 |

Thanks! Really needed that! Tired of using a rubber band. HA! 5 |

It comes open very easily, so just use a rubber band to keep it closed (simple enough). I find it to be quite useful. 5 |

With this wrench you do not need to use rubber band to remove a filter anymore 5 |

Wow, this works really well. I bought it for the band at our church. Makes it very easy for someone who plays an instrument and sings to have a decent in-ear monitor without spending a fortune. Very solid all-metal construction. Setup and use are very simple; the diagrams & labels silk-screened onto the top make it easy to see what should plug in where. As a nice additional touch, it doubles as a direct box for the instrument input. I highly recommend the optional MSC106 mic stand adapter if you're using this on stage. Only drawback is that you need a long cable or an extension for your ear monitor / headphones. If you mount this on a mic or music stand, you don't have a lot of room to move. We'll be buying a mix of these and the 1-channel PM50s to move our whole band to in-ear monitors. 5 |

We use a snake combining vocal mic, instrument mics, D.I.s, and monitor cables for each band member, running to their area of the stage from the stage digital mixer, and this product makes it easy to customize those changes and change out cables when necessary. 5 |

If anyone in your band wants more me control of their in-ear foldback for both their vocals and an instrument (or two instruments), then this is THE box for them! Ok so it costs more than the 2 channel competition, but this has the essential 3rd channel the others lack, plus an integral stereo DI box, so the total cost is much the same. What is really nice is the way it can be set for mono or stereo inputs on both the instrument channel and the main foldback. The cct diagram even contains instructions to convert the mic channel for line level inputs. A really useful box, and a much better buy in real terms than the competing products, for use by real musicians! 5 |

Works well for my Beyerdynamic M160 ribbon mic, just needs a rubber band and good to go. 5 |
