I have been using Epson HPN almost exclusively for BW photographs for about 4 years now--I guess since it came out and i discovered it. Several exhibitions in serious places, university museums and various galleries and it often is the cause of compliments and questions about it. I use an Epson 3880--and always print using Advanced BW. For exhibitions I have had large prints made professionally (up to 9 ft) on Epson HPN on my photo lab's large printers so the visual compatibility is perfect! Tough and durable, it lies flat and doesn't curl as so many others do. The slight texture is gorgeous, better to my eye than smoother papers and I prefer (personal choice) the Natural to the Bright. Tones and contrast are great too--incredible blacks. Reasonably priced too. For some reason it doesn't work as well for me in color. I do not know why. I generally print color on another mfr's gloss paper for greater intensity of color. 5 |

Excellent product. B&H was out of the ones with the surface I usually use, so I picked the thermal print surface type. It's also great to write on. 5 |

These print well in my Casio CW-50 Thermal Printer and I don't ever recall having a bad burn with one of them. Although they are rated at 16x, I usually burn at 8x and have never had a problem. 5 |
