It is a great monolight. We use it for headshots to light the white background. We don't need the full power of B10X or B10X Plus for that purpose, so we really save money and weight, especially because we always have one extra unit of each equipment as a back up. I disagree with the previous review about the power. If you need more power, you can get B10X model. This information is in description and you knew what you get. - Overall quality is very good. - Mounting part is made of metal. - Battery is on the top and easy to remove/insert in comparison with A1 models. - Most of the body is rubberized. - Buttons are easy to press. - Setting wheel is easy to use. Not like on the Profoto Connect Pro Remote. - same battery and charger as for A1 models. Things I did not consider into review. Just my thoughts: - There is some problem with the app and bluetooth connection from time to time, but I am pretty sure it will be fixed. - The unit also has USB-C port. Unfortunately, it can't be used for charging. It would be so cool, but nobody promised us that, so it is not counted. - It would be nice to have charger for two batteries. - It would be nice to have a plugable charger. - USB-C charger? Would be great too. 5 |

It does what a battery does- charges, powers, drains and it starts all over again. My XF300 is more power hungery then my A1 so I have a couple of these to make it through the day. Not much more to say then that.... 5 |

I've always dug Furman and had their power supplies in all my guitar rigs; A1 gigs in major properties in Vegas; sitting in the sand on a Hawaiian beach even, and I've not had one fail (except if you're a bit tipsy after the gig and forget to turn off the pull out lights before pushing them in, then look out, you've burned up a 4 watt bulb that will cost you a couple bucks at the hardware store!) Not quite as bad as blowing a tube in your Marshall!! 5 |
