A400 120Gb Internal Sata Solid State Drive

The Kingston A400 - 120GB Solid State Drive Is much faster than the standard SSD that came in my gaming computer. I feel like the drive really improves the speed and quality of my computer. I would completely recommend the Kingston A400 120GB Solid State Drive to anyone that is looking to improve the quality of their SSD.

If you are installing an internal Solid State Drive to your desktop computer, you'll need this SATA wire unless you are able to scavenge one off another attached device that you no longer use. It attaches to the back of the SSD (or other SATA device) and to the mother board.

I recently got a SanDisk 1TB SSD (Solid State Drive) and used a drive cloning device to clone my old 1TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to the new SSD. It works wonders in my 15 year old computer! It really speeds up drive-related activities, perhaps as much as 3 or 4 times faster. I think my old HP laptop computer is either a SATA or SATA II type, so I suspect those with a SATA III system would see even better speed results when going from a HDD to a SSD. Gotta love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kingston A400 - 120GB is a great quality drive. It was easy to upgrade the old hard drive using Windows back up and restore to the SSD. The drive has been working flawlessly and everything runs so much faster. It is well worth the cost of the drive. I was a little worried it wouldn't be supported but it works great and really fast.

I purchased this product to move the Windows virtual machine that I run on my MacBook Pro under VMWare Fusion off my internal storage because I was running out of space on the laptop's solid state drive. While I haven't run benchmarks, it appears it to start up and run the Windows apps as fast (or maybe only very slightly slower) than from the Macbook's internal solid state drive. It is an excellent product for this application.

Installation was a breeze and I only consider myself to be a hobbyist with computers. I noticed a drastic difference in speed as well. And the price was perfectly on point or even a little cheap for what I recieved. I do recommend this for laptop and desktop computer users.

My PC needed it so badly, it's slick and light and exactly what I am looking for to keep everything I work on in the right place and memory. It is critical in my domain since I count on excel sheets a lot to have everything in the right place and find it when i need it. Kingston helped me preserve all this and more.

I was a little hesitant at first since it is a less expensive model but I'll will tell you I am not disappointed! Easy to swap out. Fast and quiet! Definitely has sped up my laptop. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to up grade and update their computer. Quite to bang for the buck.

Very handy device. It makes your internal SATA drive work as external. Very easy to use...
