A6700 Body Only

What a perfect addition to the A6700 body. Gives you that pinky grip area. Is built so very solid allowing easy hookup to a Arca-Swiss mount on tripod or monopod. Very clever swing out arm to allow for easy access to one's battery as well. What a great design.

I hastily bought this with the kit lens because the Body Only was not available. I honestly, at the time, thought I would be able to get the adapter elsewhere. Boy was I wrong! It was nowhere to be found. Not even Canon had them! So sadly it had to go back or it would sit in my bag collecting dust. This was back in August and it wasn't til late November that I was able to get a used Adapter here at B&H. Soon after got the Body Only and let me tell ya...as it has been said over and over...the Animal Eye AF is amazing and has made me a lazy photographer! Additionally, brought new life to my Sigma 150-600 C!

I'm using it instead of the camera's 2 second self-timer and instead of a cable release. Works really well. Only trouble is since the camera's receiver is on the front of the body, I have to reach this thing around to the front when I'm standing behind the camera. Makes for a lot of arm waving.

Does everything it is said to do. Easy to attach to the camera body or eave on a lens. Only negative item, which I knew ahead of time, is it will not hook up to any of the camera controls (IS or IF).

Only buy sony tough cards (even if you're not a sony body). These things feel and operate FANTASTICALLY.

Excellent battery for Sony A6700, lasts a very long time.

I use this lens on a Sony a6700 and it is excellent. Great combination of value and quality.

Tack sharp on my Sony A6700 and $200 less than comparable lens. What’s not to like.
