Not a mixer but if you have fairly balanced mics it is a cheap blender/ splitter. The item did as advertised, important to use identical mic's and crank up the volume. It's a simple fix for several AV/LiveSound issues. If you're running a Mono system, this lets you use a single channel for a stereo device (2 actually). tape/CD decks, computers, iPods, handheld recorders typically have RCAs, and those cables are always handy. I prefer an RCA to 1/4 inch, but they're not always at arms reach, and it doesn't solve the stereo/mono issue. It also let's you put 2 devices on a single channel if you have a smaller board. Lastly, many boards have RCA inputs for CD/Tape/Computer, but they don't let you EQ them or assign them to sub buses. It's just a convenient device to have around, especially for smaller boards and when you don't need stereo (like in a general PA setup). 5 |

Was looking for something to problem solve RCA line level problems. In working with our choir, I run a stand-alone CD player into a Roland keyboard amplifier that even has RCA inputs, but the level was too hot: I barely turned up the amplifier volume and there was too much sound. This device solved the problem. It works as a handy attenuator (whether or not stereo separation is what one is seeking), and it works as a channel separator too. I've used it with choral stereo split tracks (vocals on left channel, orchestral accompaniment on right). I can play a song for the group from the CD, using both channels, then drop out (or just lower, if we want) the vocal track as we learn to sing to the accompaniment. Practical, well-built product! 5 |

I bought this because I recently replaced a plate amp in my old AR subwoofer with Dayton Audio plate that has xlr inputs. I run the single rca LF out from my surround amp to a Y- connector to the rca inputs on channel 2 of the Rolls, then 2 xlr cables to the Dayton. I also have 2 Sony subs that only have rca inputs, so I connected those to the rca outputs of the Rolls channel 2. Works like a charm eliminating noise on the rca cables. Added bonus: The level control on the Rolls serves as a bass volume control for my surround system, so I can quickly adjust the low end for different types of music. Another added bonus: B&H had free shipping for this under-$100 item. Many other online places charge shipping until you pay $100 or more. Thanks, B&H ! Gary. 5 |

I am delighted with my purchase of the Rolls HA43 - 4 Channel Stereo Headphone Amplifier. It is perfect for my application of connecting multiple numbers of stereo headphones to my Shure SCM268 microphone mixer by using its unbalanced RCA aux level output with an RCA Y-adapter 3-foot splitter cable. The cable I use has 1 RCA Male connector that splits to 2 RCA Male connectors and produces equal levels of audio in both channels for each headphone connected to the amplifier. This setup allows my students to monitor the audio being picked up by a variety of microphones and sent to a DSLR camera that records the video for student productions. Its electronics are quiet and provides a clear signal that enables listeners to detect hiss and interference problems during recording sessions. The Rolls HA43 is a handy and versatile little piece of equipment in monitoring audio. 5 |

Have non-amplified antenna in the attic - and that line is split 3 ways. The 2 smaller TVs weren't dropping 2 channels, but the larger TV with Samsung HDTV tuner, loses 2 channels every minute or so with weak signal. After installing the Winegard - no more weak signal on the one channel. The other channel is very watchable now with less drops. Very satisfied. 5 |

This cable is great for connecting many types of gear you may not have considered before. I use it to connect my digital recorder (which only has RCA outputs) to my studio monitors. Very high quality connectors. 5 |

We wanted to extend our Stereo system to other parts of the house, and after some research, I settled on this BT device. I'm using the BTA30 on the zone 2 (RCA analog) output of an Onkyo TX-8555 receiver to transmit to bluetooth enabled speakers and sound bars around the house. Since the Onkyo does not have digital audio out, I used an analog to digital audio converter** to go from the RCA output on the receiver to the digital TOSLINK input on the BTA30. Setup was simple and straightforward, just remember that the BTA30 has a volume knob, so remember to turn it at least halfway - i had left it all the way down and was trouble shooting for several minutes until I noticed the knob position - turned it up and it worked! I am experiencing a wee bit of latency if I'm listening to the same music in both zones at the same time, but that's most likely because the speakers I'm transmitting to are not APTX capable. In all, it's not that big of an issue, just something to be aware of. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the BTA30 - and the B&H shopping and shipping experience is second to none! **If you don't have a digital output available, you will need an analog to digital audio converter that accepts RCA audio inputs and digital TOSLINK output. You could use the BH #GEATVDA to accomplish this. 5 |
