Ableton Midi Control Scene Change

I use the product to control Ableton Live and Reason and it is spectacular! It lets me have great hands-on control, the keys are amazingly expressive, the drum pads are great, and sliders are awesome too. This is for sure a great MIDI keyboard and easily compares to any MIDI keyboard out there. One con though is that the encoders are a little loose feeling, but it's not bad once you get used to it.

I use this for Ableton Live, it's miles away from the old nanokontrol... it will receive midi signals, so when you click something with your mouse in a DAW the corresponding button is illuminated or turns off on your nano. Comes ready with mappings for some DAWs (ableton and others) or you can make your own maps. WIth the preloaded ableton map you can solo, mute, rec, pan, fade, and you can cycle between which tracks you control... control first 8 tracks then hit next track button and control the next 8. No motorized faders but you cant expect that. and the buttons dont stick anymore.

I am taking an Ableton LIve class and the bag is excellent for transporting my 25 key midi controller and laptop in one bag. Have plenty of space for notebook, sustain pedal and headphones...

I'm using this controller in tandem with the NanoKontrol (which has faders), to MIDI map all functions for Ableton Live. It offers plenty of programmable pads and 4 different scenes. The only drawback is its durability on the road (touring) over time...

Wow this has transformed the way I use Ableton. I am using it in conjunction with Isotonik's Launch Control XXL script and it lets me use all the pots to MIDI control 24 parameters per instrument or effect. So fun.

The Bluetooth feature to create your own scene and control through your phone is a winner for me A+

One of the best midi controllers I have ever used. I am able to control my euro rack to my computer and everything in between. Awesome

It’s exactly what I expected and even more! Being able to control the lights with your phone helps so much when you’re trying to light a scene by yourself!

If you have a Forza 500, this will change how you light your scene. But that's also said for working with any powerful leko. Your have probably heard all the downsides, weight (pro and con), unfortunately cannot spin the barrel so making hard angles is a creative process, and the focus require a little bit of motor memory. But we are comparing this to a joleko which isn't perfect either. Probably best match for this is a aputure 600d with their spotlight unit. I think it's pretty comparable and maybe better. The thing you loose out on is the Sidus link. So I'll be happily using this until if and when aputure makes a dedicated spotlight mount for the 600 & 1200.
