I use this for Ableton Live, it's miles away from the old nanokontrol... it will receive midi signals, so when you click something with your mouse in a DAW the corresponding button is illuminated or turns off on your nano. Comes ready with mappings for some DAWs (ableton and others) or you can make your own maps. WIth the preloaded ableton map you can solo, mute, rec, pan, fade, and you can cycle between which tracks you control... control first 8 tracks then hit next track button and control the next 8. No motorized faders but you cant expect that. and the buttons dont stick anymore. 5 |

I picked the Launchpad X up thinking it would work for several Max4Live instruments designed for the original Launchpad which, sad to say, it wasn't. I decided to keep it, thinking it would be a good supplement to my Ableton Push 1 but I didn't realize that, because of its convenient size, good velocity-sensitive pads, and clear labels that I'd be using it MORE than my Push. Specifically, when creating at my computer workstation I am used to getting up and walking over to a full-size 88-key controller or standing up to maneuver to my Push. Now, I have a (separately acquired) 25 mini-keys controller and this Launchpad X which I can, owing to long USB cables, bring to me rather than me going to them. The pads are more sensitive than those on the Push 1 but they are also less prone to false-triggering which means I can play them longer and more consistently. The clear (and limited) labels on the Launchpad X also mean I spend a lot less time hunting for functions compared to the Push. Switching from Session to Notes view, changing key and scale, and instant access to Ableton's Capture MIDI function have all been unexpected enhancements to my creativity. Does it replace my Push? No -but it's addressed ways my studio and using my Push have previously slowed my process down. 5 |

This is a really sturdy stand, pretty great for the price. It was a bit too tall for my use (Ableton Push), but I bet it works great for a laptop. Would be nice to have one that's maybe half the height, even if that means it's not adjustable. 5 |

I use the product to control Ableton Live and Reason and it is spectacular! It lets me have great hands-on control, the keys are amazingly expressive, the drum pads are great, and sliders are awesome too. This is for sure a great MIDI keyboard and easily compares to any MIDI keyboard out there. One con though is that the encoders are a little loose feeling, but it's not bad once you get used to it. 5 |

Wow this has transformed the way I use Ableton. I am using it in conjunction with Isotonik's Launch Control XXL script and it lets me use all the pots to MIDI control 24 parameters per instrument or effect. So fun. 5 |

Was looking for a simple to use, automatic (just push start button) turntable that could play my old vinyl records. This unit works perfectly, was easy to set up and sounds great. Brings back so many memories playing those 70s and 80s records. 5 |

Purchased to use as a controller for a multimedia PC. Easily programable to execute various commands with a push of a button. I use the center dial for volume, the jog dial for FF/RW and the pushbuttons for switching sources. 5 |

Use: Online PC (Push to talk) gaming Excellent product albeit nostalgic in size and appearance. USB plug and play - works well with no interference in conjunction with the installed Sennheiser HDVD 800 amp/DAC and HD800 headphones. 5 |
