Ableton Use Computer Keyboard

Quality and worth it. Use it in a business, very harsh conditions for a computer, and this one does the job. I did upgrade the keyboard and mouse to wireless. The touchscreen is great, and the display is clear. The power and sleek design is spot on. 5 |

I use my Novation Impulse for making basic beats in Ableton Live and Garageband. I don't have a great frame of reference, but can say that this keyboard has done everything I've expected of it and more. I'm particularly pleased with the drum pads that come with Roll and Arp settings which have allowed me to make some pretty unique rhythmic patterns I otherwise would be lost making. Finally, this keyboard is very handsome. Backlit buttons and drum pads along with a sleek design allow my modest little operation to look nearly legit. Surely not a reason to buy a keyboard, but a bonus nonetheless. 5 |

I use the product to control Ableton Live and Reason and it is spectacular! It lets me have great hands-on control, the keys are amazingly expressive, the drum pads are great, and sliders are awesome too. This is for sure a great MIDI keyboard and easily compares to any MIDI keyboard out there. One con though is that the encoders are a little loose feeling, but it's not bad once you get used to it. 5 |

Great sequencer keyboard, I use it with Ableton and it works like a charm. The built in ARP is super fun and I look forward to exploring more features. 5 |

Works perfectly, I use two DAWs for two different task. I use Ableton for tracking for church and other related stuff. I have committed to learning Logic for writing and scoring. This keyboard is helping me to do that. Short cuts are key to an efficient work flow. This keyboard pushes me to look for short cuts where I would normally fiddle around in drop downs. I will put it this way, if I was using Ableton on a separate work station, I would absolutely have the Ableton keyboard for it. 5 |

Ableton integration is pretty much automatic. Keyboard worked with Musescore instantly. Still understanding all it can do. 5 |

I use this for Ableton Live, it's miles away from the old nanokontrol... it will receive midi signals, so when you click something with your mouse in a DAW the corresponding button is illuminated or turns off on your nano. Comes ready with mappings for some DAWs (ableton and others) or you can make your own maps. WIth the preloaded ableton map you can solo, mute, rec, pan, fade, and you can cycle between which tracks you control... control first 8 tracks then hit next track button and control the next 8. No motorized faders but you cant expect that. and the buttons dont stick anymore. 5 |

This is the second Zagg Case/Keyboard I have owned. It’s the only keyboard that I have found that allows me to type as I would on a full sized computer keyboard. 5 |
