This is a work horse mic used by every sound engineer to record any type of instruments:brass, percussion, etc.

I use this mic to record string and wind (brass mostly) instruments.  The different patterns make it effective in a variety of spaces depending on whether you want to reject other sounds or include reflections.  Versatile and great sound quality.

This crystal ball works as intended. I like to do a lot of abstract photography with lights and it turned out well. I also use this ball with landscapes, portraits, etc.The kaleidoscope effect is very cool and works exactly how I imagined it to. The lens has to be very close up to the crystal ball to capture the awesome kaleidoscope effect. It’s definitely worth the price and it’s a nice accessory to have to add a little creativity to your photos!

I purchased the Lensbaby OMNI bundle to use with my abstract and macro photography, and I am absolutely loving it! The magnets are strong enough to hold the filters in place, yet easy to quickly reposition as needed. The effects can be as subtle or over-the-top as you choose. Paired with the Lensbaby Velvet 56, the OMNI System helps create dreamy washes of soft color. As a fan of the 'shooting-through' technique, this is a welcome and super-fun(!) set of tools.

Recently I shifted from close up, sharp focus to abstract macro floral photography and after watching Les Picker's session at your event space on Fine Art Printing decided to try Moab. This paper runs thru the Epson printer well and folks in my workshop really like the look & feel.

This has one serious flaw, but apart from that, it is simply the best solution to a filter system for serious photography. The concept of the filter vaults is brilliant, and the holder is superb. This is in a class by itself, and no other filter system comes close. Well worth the money. BUT it has one huge flaw, and that is the brass screw at the top that secures the holder to the lens adapter. The first one I got, this thing just snapped! The screw has a big head, and maybe it generates too much force on the thin body of the screw. Whatever the reason, mine broke, and I had to return it to B&H and get a new unit. I am now VERY careful handling this screw, but other than that, it seems to be working exceptionally well. Works with all the standard 100x100 and 150x100 filters, as long as they are 2mm thick. I highly recommend it, in spite of the one weakness. I hope Wine Country fixes this one weakness (maybe use a strong, steel screw instead of a brass screw?) I will give it 5 stars anyway, for the otherwise brilliantly executed product that comes very nicely packaged and presented.

I am a fine atr / abstract photographer. I use this Warm Black Diffusion filter for still life, portrait, landscape and even shots of buildings and vehicles . The color tones of my subjects are very soft...also have an almost ebony hue to them. I seldom use Photoshop...I still love using lense filters. What's not so great? I cannot think of anything right now.
