Plugged it in to power, pressed the WPS button on the router and after a minute or so the extender connected. I plugged it into the location I had selected and it has worked brilliantly ever since.

Just press the wps button on your router, press the wps button on the extender, 2ghz connects, then press the wps button on your router again, press the wps button on the extender again, 5ghz connects. Place the extender between your routers signal before it gets weak and it will boost the signal to where you need it. I used this extender to get a stronger signal to a smart tv. I get a good stream now with no freeze ups or buffering.

We were having trouble with our WiFi connection. Our router was 6 years old. With Covid-19, I was forced to work from home and needed my WiFi to work. I bought a new router, it worked intermittently.
