Access Linksys Router In Wireless Bridge Mode

I haven't had nearly enough experience to rate this router properly, but as an ardent Apple user, my experience replacing an aging 1st-gen AirPort Extreme (Time Capsule) might be of value. Overall, I have 3 AE's covering a 3000 sq' home, and they do an acceptable job (1 as primary router, 2 in bridge mode). I replaced the AE/TC router with the 2600ac with virtually no hassle; the unit powered up, was quickly configured, and now supports the other two AE's as wired wi-fi extenders. In this configuration coverage seems about the same, but ideally I will replace the other two AE's with one more 2600ac, also running in bridge mode. We'll see ... Speed-wise, wi-fi connections (those supporting 802.11ac) are now seeing 150-200Mbps, versus my old "n" speeds of around 40-50Mbps. So that's nice ...

Using in bridge mode to get WIFI inside steel workshop. The CPE510 is mounted outside on corner of overhanging roof post pointed to house with existing 5 GHz WIFI. Ethernet cable goes inside to TP-Link travel router. I now have stable, dependable high strength WIFI signal inside the building. Also wired LAN ports on the travel router if I ever need one. Very pleased.

Replaced a 6 year old linksys wireless router with this unit. My first time with a mesh system. Setup was very easy. All devices connected quickly. Internet throughput is so much better with this unit. I am using Verizon 5G home internet with this router. Getting nearly 300 mbps download consistently. I get a strong wifi signal all over my house (3300 sq ft) and outside. I am very happy with this unit.

We use this WR841  as an Access Point to connect wireless to a second WR841 with DD WRT  configured as a Client Bridge.   The PCs connect to the Client Bridge with Ethernet cable.  This set up allows PCs at the other end of the house to stream TV programs from the internet.   Earlier, we tried connecting the PCs with USB wireless adapters.  But the signal and data throughput from the USB adapters was  variable and unreliable.   This setup with two WR841s, in AP/Client Bridge configuration, is just about bullet proof.  We are very pleased with our purchase and highly recommend the WR841.

Replace your consumer grade wireless router you bought from @ with an EdgeRouter or USG from Ubiquiti and one of these access points and the days of dropped connections and flaky netflix are over. This access point has been shown in some studies to actually improve your IQ by a measurable amount as well as help bring harmony to your home. The glowing blue ring of wifi bliss is an added night lite bonus. (can be turned off)If your switch does not support POE you must use the supplied injector. The power cord on the injector is very short, so plan ahead. This unit does not even blink when faced with almost 20 wireless devices simultaneously connected. Phones, Rokus, laptops, Dish Hoppers, iPads, android tablets, etc.

I bought this router to accommodate a web/minecraft/media server, constant online gaming, excessive video streaming, and three wireless access points (my house has metal lathe, which acts like a faraday cage). Was previously using some Netgear garbage home user Wi-Fi router that couldn't keep up with the demand and was awful to manage. This router is a breeze to manage if you have at least basic networking knowledge. The 10 ports allow me to wire my server, computer, access points, and other peripheral gear to keep the wireless networks from getting congested. The quality of my home network improved dramatically and allowed me to actually utilize every drop of the gigabit ethernet we pay for. I also appreciate Ubiquiti's detailed firmware upgrade logs. I would absolutely recommend this router to anyone looking to have fast, easily configurable internet at home, and I'm sure it would hold up well for a small business too.

I needed internet access in an old building next to my house. It is too far away from my house to be supported by my wireless router. However, it does share electrical wiring with my house. Running new Cat5 cables was not a good solutions for a variety of reasons so I decided to try TP-Link's AV100 Gigabit Powerline Starter kit. The setup was very easy, basically plug and play. The price was very affordable. While not as fast as a direct connection, it still meets my needs.

I have four of these, configured as access points. That means I have an ethernet cable connecting each to my router. It provides outstanding WiFi coverage to the rooms these are in. The 5G network in particular is crazy fast; I get 500+ mbps/s on my phone. I generally don't recommend extender mode, in which these units relay your phone's wireless signal to the router, via another wireless signal.

Awsome...this router was an upgrade from a very old linksys router. There is no way to compair this. The wifi 7 is blazing fast. There is only one down side and that is the wifi 7 range, but thats where the wifi 6 comes in.
