Access Point Between Router And Internet Broken

Once I got used to the ubiquity software, it was fairly easy to set up and it's doing what it's supposed to do. Between this device and the access point I bought earlier, I was able to remove my all-in-one Asus Wi-Fi router. 5 |

Great router, access point, repeater, etc.. with Wifi 7 router on the way, this is still a contender. 5 |

I needed internet access in an old building next to my house. It is too far away from my house to be supported by my wireless router. However, it does share electrical wiring with my house. Running new Cat5 cables was not a good solutions for a variety of reasons so I decided to try TP-Link's AV100 Gigabit Powerline Starter kit. The setup was very easy, basically plug and play. The price was very affordable. While not as fast as a direct connection, it still meets my needs. 5 |

If you’re like me and live off grid and cellular is your only means to access the internet this device is amazing. It works just like my old router when I lived in the city and had internet. 5 |

Great to have this Netgear CM700 modem to access internet by plug into Laptop directly. then need a router to get WiFi working. 5 |

I want to start off by saying this is not a router so if you want to connect it directly to your modem look elsewhere. I upgraded from the original unifi access point to this one and it was a breeze to setup. Although setting up the controller software can be tricky to install on Linux but fairly straightforward on Mac and Windows. This device greatly increased my network speeds over my wireless network, I went from about 10 MB/sec to around 50 MB/s, but this was over my local network which is all gigabit in my house, internet speeds will vary depending on your internet plan. Before I used to hardwire my computer to transfer large files to my backup storage but now I can do it wirelessly in about the same time. Also another handy feature I found is you can scan the rf spectrum to see what other devices are causing interference and assist accordingly and also detect rogue access points that might be trying to fool devices into connecting to them instead of your network, all handy features if you want to run these in a business. Overall you can't go wrong with this device if you want reliability and a high performance access point and they are one of the cheapest but still perform the same as the high prices one. I would regiment to anyone looking for a great wireless network. 5 |

Setup was really easy using my existing wifi router, and this single access point is covering the top two floors of my house (3,200 sqft). Very impressive product! 5 |

This is a great product. It's waaaaay better than my ISP-provided modem/router/spaceheater/Access Point, and it's much more reliable. I do wish that this had a couple of PoE ports built-in. 5 |

The Synology RT6600 is a fantastic WiFi 6 Router and WiFi Access Point. Has many features that are for a more professional type of deployment in a SMB type environment while still being user friendly and approachable for just about anybody. 5 |

The EdgeRouterX provides enterprise features including gigabit Ethernet, VLANs, DNS forwarding, a DHCP server and even a VPN server for your small home network at a consumer price. I paired mine with an Ubiquiti wireless access point for a complete home networking solution. The EdgeRouter X even provides PoE pass through to power my access point (note: this is not negotiated PoE, so you must make sure any device you will connect to port 4 on the router is compatible with pass through PoE before enabling the feature on the router). 5 |
